While my three-night stay had a few distinct high points, they were completely overshadowed by a deeply unprofessional level of service and alarming security lapses.
👍 The Positives (Highlights):
• Excellent Breakfast: The breakfast was truly the highlight of the stay. The selection was vast, the portions were generous, and everything was delicious. The fresh fruit juices were particularly good.
👎 The Negatives (Major Issues):
The service and management were, frankly, baffling and unacceptable.
• Unprofessional and Dishonest Staff: I requested a toothbrush on the first night and was told it was out of stock until the next morning. After asking again the next morning, I was told a cleaner would provide one. I asked the cleaner directly, who nodded but then never returned. When I asked the front desk again that night, I was given the exact same, false excuse: "no stock, check back in the morning." On the third morning, after yet another inquiry, the front desk finally admitted they do not supply toothbrushes and suggested I buy one at a nearby convenience store. I would have accepted the truth immediately; what I cannot accept is the constant, smiling deception and the waste of my time.
• Major Security Failure: Our initial room, Room 312, had a broken door lock that could be opened from the outside without a key. This is an extreme security breach. When reported, the front desk asked us to wait in the hallway while maintenance fixed it. Only after strongly insisting on an immediate room change were we moved to a new room.
• Unacceptable Amenities: The shampoo and body wash in our replacement room appeared to have been diluted with water, barely more than clear liquid. This suggests a complete lack of quality control and corners being cut.
