Hotel Metropole Residence

I highly recommend this hotel! First off, the male staff at reception was incredibly kind and allowed us to store our luggage. The room itself was very clean, and they cleaned it daily (they also replaced the two towels every day). The shower had a good hot and cold water supply, and they provided shampoo and body soap as amenities. Plus, the lovely woman who cleans the rooms also prepares breakfast, and her hospitality was wonderful every time. The hotel is also close to the city center, so I was very satisfied. My only heads-up is that there are about 5-6 cats at the entrance, so those who aren't fond of cats might want to be aware.

Pros: 1. Very close to the Medina, about a 6-8 minute walk. 2. Breakfast included, at least it's filling. 3. Relatively clean, with daily towel changes. Cons: 1. Located in an alley, quite hard to find, and not very convenient for taxis. 2. Quite basic, comparable to a guesthouse in a small, obscure town, with old facilities. 3. The room is quite small.

Very convenient and very comfortable. Plus, you can even have guests over.

Quiet location within the Medina. There were cats at the entrance, and the hallways were hot and smelled bad. The room had air conditioning. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was very basic and repetitive with no options to choose from. They didn't provide water, and you had to pay for it. The room was clean, and we didn't see any bugs.
