Well, let's just say the building itself seems to be the biggest selling point. But I seriously suspect Ctrip is just stirring things up. With facilities like this, I wouldn't doubt it even if it weren't rated 5 stars. Absolutely not recommended. 5000 RMB a night? What a rip-off! The ceiling is peeling, the walls are like a guesthouse, the furniture is like a cheap motel, and the electrical panels are just haphazardly installed.

This upscale hotel is located in a prime area of the old town. Nearby attractions such as the Egyptian Museum, Roman Street, the Church of Turin, and the Central Railway Station are all within walking distance. The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, a pleasant surprise… After unlocking the massive wooden door and entering the building, another door leads to a spacious and tall staircase. Ascending the stairs is a central hall where an elegant butler in a tailcoat often sits. He politely stands up and smiles upon seeing guests. The Royal Palace Suite's door is located in a corner of the central hall. Entering the room, the at least six-meter-high ceiling is adorned with colorful paintings. The dim lighting reflects off the paintings on the walls, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the Middle Ages. Overall, the experience was pleasant. The only drawback was the excessive noise from passing vehicles on the cobblestone streets in the early morning.

The room is great. Walking into the inner building of this hotel is like walking into a Roman palace. The room is very large, with dry and wet separation, good hygiene, and very high ceilings. The room has a balcony, looking at the church opposite. It is very close to all places, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to both the attractions and Via Roma. The location is great! Serviced butler-style one-to-one service. Overall, it is great and worth experiencing. A small suggestion for the hotel is that their gypsum board is a little peeling. If this is done well, it will be more perfect.

Is a 4 star hotel. I've to give it 5star as we paid only Euro 225 for a very big room. The staff are all so nice too. When you arrive, you'll be shocked as it is a wooden entrance as if belong to someone's house and locked. But it is actually link to another swankier hotel around the corner call Grand Hotel Sitea. If you're fit and don't mind stairs and love old buildings, then Royal palace will suit you as you can still use the gym belong to Grand Hotel Sitea 24hrs also your breakfast has to be there. Royal Palace tried to refurbished this place to a bit more modern. The shower area is modern you can switch the water on easily but to close the shower door is not easy. The rather high step to the bathroom is pretty bad in the middle of the night. However paying this price we're located right in the "city" area. They also try very hard with all the mini bar items being free except the bottle of champagne. The chips, cookies, water, soft drinks are very nice touch. Towels are clean but I wish they change the toiletries as they have a rich smell which is just too much for me. The water in the paper bottles also has a smell even after boiling it. Breakfast is ok, enough food to eat but no omelette which you've to pay extra (they can't have mushroom or spinach added in). Overall, we enjoyed this place but I'm glad is 1 night and I'll still prefer a more modern room anytime.

The location is excellent. Just a few blocks from Piazza San Carlo. Restaurants on via Alberto excellent including the hotel bistro and bar. The desk staff is helpful and pleasant. Loved Jose. Interesting outdoor breakfast with turtles in the garden. Highly recommend.

Wow! This hotel experience was one of the best ever. The staff, particularly the reception clerk and the butler for the suites property, were beyond attentive, helpful, and supportive. The room was incredible, but the service was over the top!

I was quite disappointed with our suite at this hotel. And the information about this hotel was misleading. I was never informed that this hotel was not operated by the Grand Sitea hotel, around the corner. I was led to believe they were the same property. We were placed in some cold building around the corner (we had to walk in the rain to get to the hotel we thought we were staying in). We had no heat the first night and the second night someone above us was moving furniture around well after midnight. And no room service during the day to the ROYAL Palace Suites??? No bathtub - in a big suite. My husband had to move the furniture around the make the living room somewhat liveable. The furniture was sparse and pushed against all the walls. I felt we should be playing soccer in the living room. The terrace was tiny and no furniture at all. And why no rugs in the living room or bedroom. So stark and cold. The staff was great. The art and the ceilings were fabulous. We were very disappointed.

This was our second stay in one year… absolutely the place to stay in Torino. In addition to the beautiful suites…. We stayed in the royal suite last year and Room 602 this year…the service is impeccable… made all the better by Marco the butler. We want Torino to stay quiet so don’t go! But we love it and will only stay here! Just a note of explanation…. The suites are in an ancient building across the street from the Hotel Grand Sitea. Although beautiful, there are many steps up to your suites.. but you are literally a few steps from the hotel where your breakfast is served and the beautiful bar. Just be aware so you are not surprised. As long as steps are not a problem you will love it, and the staff will help you with luggage.
