We stayed at the hotel in a swim up room for 4 days. As we had stayed there many years ago, we were excepting the hotel to have the same standards, but it definitely deteriorated. The first impression of the Hotel is supposed to be the reception, at which we were encountered with the question 'How did you come here in this hot weather' and tired faces. We understand that the staff might be working long hours, but it doesn't justify their smoking around, talking on their phones and looking so upset. The well being of the staff as well as guests should be prioritized. Afterwards, we came across several safety measurement infringements in the room and inside of the hotel. The electricity cables were hanging everywhere and a huge rotten nail made a hole in my slippers and almost got into my skin while walking towards the pool. The room and the adult pool that we were facing was smelling like a sewage constantly and there was damp in the room. Children were also using the pool despite the notice boards. Furthermore, the hotel is proud of serving Startbucks coffee which was not operating on the morning of our third day. Moreover, the food variety was not enough and although there are two main restaurants at the hotel that we were told that we were not allowed to use the other restaurant as we were staying in Sentido family building. First, we thought that it is to prevent crowding then when we insisted on eating on the other one on our third night, we figured out that the food was totally different as we stopped by ours on our way back. Above all, we suspected that mu husband got poisoned on the third day most probably because of the meat product that he ate. At night they said they have an agreement with a hospital that they could call an ambulance from, which was turned out to be a clinic that is overcharging according to some internet reviews so we ended up going to the hospital with our own means. When we came back to the hotel, there was no checking on when we came back to the Hotel and they blinded us at the reception. Also we couldn't consume any alcohol after the first day other than bottled beers as the big majority of the booze was poor quality. On our final day, a member of staff came to our room to prepare our room for the next guests - 2 hours before our allowed check out time. Even though I said we we were not available at that moment as we were packing, he said we could continue packing, but he needed to fill the fridge for the next guests. Finally, when we were about to leave, a lady from guest relations approached us when we were handing the cards and asked how our stay was. When we told about our dissatisfaction, she wrote them down on a piece of A4 paper and said thank us for the feedback while smiling. She didn't apologize or try to make a proactive steps. I definitely do not recommend the hotel.
