Hotels in Gaochang District, Turpan

The front desk staff asked me to register for Huazhu Club with a verification code. They said it was a check-in code, but when I opened the message, it said account registration. I don't know why they said check-in code instead of explaining the situation directly. I've stayed twice, and this happened both times when I checked in. I want to ask if it's mandatory to register for this software to stay at your hotel?

The hotel's surroundings are average. The rooms are on the second and third floors. Downstairs is a Sichuan restaurant, noodle shop, and breakfast shop. Parking is available on both sides of the road and behind the building. The hotel staff is friendly and greets guests warmly upon arrival. Check-in is quick. The rooms are small but clean and tidy. It's a new hotel, and the amenities are quite new. My favorite is the matte gray bathroom flooring, which feels elegant and classy. The shower water is excellent, and the mattress is also acceptable. I don't understand why the quilts are so thick in a place like Turpan with such extreme temperatures. To cover them, the air conditioner has to be set very low. Doesn't that waste electricity? Another issue is that every day when I return to my room and open the door, I smell a strong odor. I look carefully and it doesn't seem to be coming from the bathroom. I don't know where it's coming from, and the windows are closed, so there's no outside air coming in. However, this problem persisted for two consecutive days. I hope the hotel can address this. Overall, for a new hotel, it's a good one.

This guesthouse in Grape Valley is amazing! The environment is tranquil with beautiful vineyards everywhere you look, and the accommodation is clean and comfortable. The owner is incredibly genuine and enthusiastic. Both the food and stay experience were excellent, full of local character. It's truly a worry-free and comfortable place to stay when visiting Turpan.

This is a detached white villa in the villa complex. Hua Jun stayed there for one night and found it to be more cost-effective, so Yu Shi stayed here for the second night. It was clean and hygienic, and offered sand therapy. The owner was very nice, and the receptionist was very friendly. It was truly a great place, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Turpan.

The boss in Chongqing, the food is very appetizing, the weight is also large, we brought the children, and we upgraded it. The service is very intimate, the yard is large, very clean, the parking is very convenient, the door is running, very cool, the watermelon is delicious. It’s very comfortable under the grape rack, but the grapes are not ripe yet~ No, you can go to Frog Lane, the location is very good.

The pick-up station service is quite good. I came to pick up the station so early. I like the young lady. The small courtyard is very comfortable and characteristic. Living in the grape ditch is a very good choice. It is a very careful homestay. It is the little sister at the front desk. Just be warm.

I stayed at a decent hotel in Turpan for the price, but the breakfast completely ruined my mood. I paid for the stay with my own money, and the breakfast was included, but the staff member preparing the meal was truly unpleasant. I don't know why they were so angry, but I cannot forget the look of contempt they gave me from start to finish—their anger, their scrutinizing gaze, and their contemptuous look. Wondering why on earth they acted that way, I looked up reviews and read a post from someone who had stayed there before and given it a 1-star rating, stating they were also upset about the breakfast. The staff at the front desk were really kind and nice, but the restaurant staff member was the least Chinese-like person I have ever seen in China; they absolutely should not be working in a hotel. Even if breakfast is included, one way to make the most of this hotel is to skip it unless you are extremely hungry.

First and foremost, this hotel accepts foreigners. The hotel is quite ok but not great. I booked a no-window non-smoking room (don’t do it, go for room with window) because I thought there is more chance people still smoke in non-smoking rooms with windows. The first room they gave me, put the key card on and electricity didn’t work. Waited for them to check with no result so I was relocated to another room. It’s non-smoking but I can clearly smell the smoke. Took 2 days for the smoke smell to go away which is a pity. The room is small but enough for a solo like me. Each floor they built 4 lines of rooms, the 2 middle lines stay wall-to-wall to each other and are the ‘no-window’ rooms. I would definitely recommend you to choose the room with window, because it means you don’t share a lot of ‘walls’ to other room and have a window to open at least for circulation if room is smelly or if room is too hot. In my case, my room smells smoke, and the room heater system only allows 34-37 degree celsius which is crazy! Very hot if turned on so I had to turn it off the whole time I stay at the hotel. Even though it is winter time, the whole hotel is already on heater. Unable to adjust room temperature is annoying because it means no air circulation. There is a blowing machine (similar to a fan) in the room but it is not efficient quickly enough. The room feels extremely suffocating. I did really wish for a window. Also because the no-window rooms share 3 walls with other rooms (not counting the upper floor), it’s more bad-luck chances for weird noise. In my case, I had to endure one whole freaking night with 2 loud Uyghur couples who cannot hold themselves back from banging the freak out and making all kinds of terrible terrible noise. Seems like no soundproof for these walls.

I randomly booked this place and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was! Even though it's newly renovated, there was no 'new renovation' smell. The room was incredibly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The price was also quite affordable, making it a fantastic value-for-money guesthouse. The room hygiene was excellent, and the staff were warm, efficient, and pretty much granted every request. The main thing is the affordable price, and I was very satisfied with my stay! Extremely satisfied! Definitely deserves a good review!!
