Hotel Villa Florencia

Nice hotel outside the city (would not want to stay in city). We stayed for one night before rafting the Pacuare. Rooms are ok, no air conditioning. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel. Food is fantastic, served in an open air pavilion. They were accommodating with one member of our party that is gluten free. They have a nice pool and hot tub but we didn’t use it as it was raining the day we stayed. Staff is friendly and plenty of on site parking.

Hotel is just ok. Rooms dont have the amenities they offer. To have a fridge, they did a downgrade of the room. Restaurant not good. They confused the orders, 45 minutes wait for the wrong plate and very expensive. I cant recommend this place.

Our room was in dire need of a make over. Bedside lamp that didn’t work, tv on wall but no remote, coffee machine but no coffee, fridge not plugged in and no hot water! No air con and just a fan on the ceiling! Door did not fit properly and allowed bugs in the room. Good was basic but adequate All in all very disappointing

Really nice hotel! the superior rooms are super spacious with a beautiful view. Pool and jacuzzi are really nice, and the whole environment is awesome if you want to relax. Orioles nests all over and even a resident sloth! Bird viewers will have a great time!

Bedding was poor quality as were pillows and mattress. No air conditioning. Fans did the job. Bitten by mosquitoes all night. Place is dirty. Poorly cared for. It has seen better days. Pool dirty. Staff is very nice. They must not be doing well Cooking is awful. Prices for dinner high. Poor quality breakfast and dinner. Price for night’s stay high. Beautiful view and near all the fields.

Ok place. Our room didn’t have hot water. Staff don’t seem to care about this being an issue…. So be ready to take a cold shower if you stay here. Food was good, but slow to arrive. Ask for a room with a working hot water heater if you stay here. Also, the hot tub is only heated from 5-7 pm.

The most positive thing about this property are the grounds. The grounds are lovely. The rooms need deep cleaning and updating. There is no AC, and the ceiling fan doesn’t even produce air movement in the room. The bedding smelled like dirty sweaty bodies. The shower looks as if it’s not been cleaned ever. The shower head is at least 8’ high and the water pressure is terrible. The faucet at the sink is a joke. It’s one that you push down and the water runs until it comes back up. There is only cold water at the sink. The dinner was very good, but the breakfast was mediocre. The staff seemed indifferent and the service was extremely slow. I don’t recommend this property unless you don’t mind glamping at a hotel price.
