Location was perfect for spotting birds and doing short (10-30 minutes) drives to other good birding locations. We booked the room with balcony. The room was clean and the bed was good. Patrica is the lady that manages everything. She also cooked great meals for us. So please order the lunch and dinner also there. We are very happy and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely stunning property beautifully set up for birding and bird photography. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and incredibly obliging. Outstanding value first money. I will definitely be returning.

The property was expertly maintained. Andrey who is the manager and guide made my wife and I welcome. He is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and plants in the area especially the bird species. Daisy, the chef, made fantastic healthy and tasteful meals. I would highly recommend Arte de Plumas.

Die Arte de Plumas Birding Lode liegt in den Bergen oberhalb Turrialba. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön ,allerdings gibt es leider ein paar Mängel. Die fehlenden Moskitonetzen an den Fenstern haben uns gestört. Aber die Zimmer sind gross,hell und schön. Patricia und Sebastian haben uns kulinarisch sehr verwöhnt. Sie sind so herzliche Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren wegen den Kolibris hier. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sie fliegen wirklich durch das Haus. Auch sonst hat es viele Vögel und der Name ist Programm. Das Wetter war bei uns leider sehr trüb,aber uns hat es trotzdem gefallen.

Wie waren auf unserer Costa Rica Rundreise 2 Tage in dieser Lodge...der Besitzer war sehr gastfreundlich und ein echter Vogel-Experte. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und bieten alles was man braucht, allerdings ist der Sanitärbereich ohne Türe, das spielte für uns aber keine Rolle. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Die Kolibris kommen bis auf die Terrasse, man kann von da aus alle möglichen Vögel beobachten. Da die Lodge etwas abgelegen in einem Tal liegt, ist es hier sehr ruhig und absolut Naturverbunden.
