What a pleasant surprise this was. Well appointed pub, with real ale and Greek cuisine. We stayed on a Thursday night which is a greek buffet for £14.95. Really good value with dips and pitta bread with a glorious greek salad to start and a range of really tasty greek food, such a stufado, moussaka, meatballs, chicken, the most fantastic chips amongst other dishes. The rooms had a large comfy bed and an amazing bathroom, with walk in shower and a deep bat as well, complete with bath bomb. Right up our street with tea and coffee facilities and breakfast in the morning for £90. Not only that but the pub is in a converted (large) cow shed close to the Trent and Mersey canal, so you can go for a walk along the canal and see the lovely boats. Really handy to break our long journey to Suffolk and very friendly staff - thanks
