The Mangal View Residency - A Luxury Boutique Business Hotel

Avoid stay in this hotel especially when there are so many better options in the city. The Hotel lacks service standards. The linens are stained, flush and air-conditioner non functional. The breakfast buffet is bare minimum and food quality not upto the mark and the quanity questionable. The restaurant has horrible service or may be zero service. The staff has no respect for guests. Staying or eating here is a waste of money

I liked the Hotel Mangal View Residency!! It has very good friendly staff especially in the reception!! The room was spacious and clean!! Spacial Thank you for the staff who cooked excellent breakfast and lunch!! The food was delicious 😋. Special Thank you for the excellent Restaurant Manager Shanker Choudhary for his kind attention to the Hotel clients!!! I don't know about the dinner as I didn't go for dinner but probably the same good quality. Thank you Mangal Residency, untill next time!!

They have thought of everything! One cannot find a single fault with this hotel. This is a one-year-old hotel, and it's the best hotel experience I've had in a long time! Right from toiletries in the bathroom, extras like dental kit, shaving kit, disposable slippers, mineral water (2 per day), they have thought of everything! Rooms have central AC with individual controls, centralised hot water supply. If you call up reception with a request, you can be sure it will be answered and responded to within 5 minutes! The breakfast spread is large and varied, with Western and Indian veg options. We were there for four nights, so we got to taste a varied fare every day. Right from fresh fruit (banana) and fruit juice (watermelon), there is corn flakes, sprouts, oats porridge (the healthy options), ***** with poha, vermicelli upma, mini uthappas, puri-bhaji, idli-wadas. The cooking and presentation were first class! We tried their lunch options which were always tasty. Please note this is a veg hotel. Since I may not visit Udaipur again, I would urge prospective visitors to come to this hotel instead of the expensive "lake view" options. It is located in the old city, within walking distance of the main attractions like City Fort and Pichola Lake. There are many shops and eating places within a 10-minute walking radius.

Even after my booking was confirmed, these people did not give me a room and told me to check into some other hotel.I have a very bad experience with this hotel.Whenever you book a room, take the room number first otherwise they will return your room to someone else and trouble you later.

Nice hotel. Smallish room. Only issue was I booked online for a twin and they gave us a double. So we had to get a single mattress to put on the floor. Since the room was not very big it became cramped. They should not offer twin as an option if they can't guarantee it.

Fantastic hotel in the city centre, lovely, helpful staff and the rooms are very hygienic. Within 10 mins by foot you can visit Gulab Bhag, the City Palace and more! An absolute hidden gem; just have dinner at their rooftop restaurant. Definitely worth the stay.
