"We stayed here for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is at the end of very narrow busy streets and our car dropped us off a few minutes away and we were transferred by tuk tuk with our luggage. The ride was not for the faint hearted but we had a good laugh. Arriving at the hotel we were immediately greeted by staff in the beautiful courtyard and went to check in at reception which was very tastefully furnished. Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was large and very clean and we had a room with a lake view. The door lock was very unusual not the sort of thing you would see in a hotel. The bathroom has a good shower with all the toiletries you could need my only complaint would be that the hair dryer wasn’t powerful and kept overheating and falling off the wall. We went for dinner on the terrace, the view of the lake is breathtaking, service was good and the food was tasty. Breakfast is the usual buffet style, my husband was having trouble getting the toaster to work so a staff member said he would do it and bring it to the table, he then proceeded to have difficulty and disappeared and we didn’t see him or the toast again. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend booking a lake view room we sat in the window seat and enjoyed watching the boats go by"

"Our stay at Raffles Udaipur was absolute perfection from the moment we arrived. Getting transferred to the private island by boat set a magical tone right away. The rooms are massive, brilliantly designed, and impeccably maintained, offering a mesmerizing view of the lake and well-manicured lawns. We were 7 of us [my Mother, twin kids, spouse, sister and niece]. We stayed at the Island for 2 Nights. All the arrangements were flawlessly managed and taken care by "Shivam Saxena and Ritwik Thakur". They walked the extra mile on all the requests and made them possible even those which were not in their purview. Their perseverance was the key! Glad to connect with them. Furthermore, special mention to the active F&B staff throughout the Island [at their huge breakfast, Raffles Patisserie which includes 3 restaurants and IRDA]; they were exceptional in taking care of our respective requests as we were a group of 7 people ranging from 2.5 years to 78 years. Raffles Udaipur is the only Island Destination in India with 100 massive rooms. "Truly a slice of royalty—we cannot wait to return!""

"We received a warm welcome from reception and all of the staff here were great particularly the restaurant waiters on the roof top restaurant. The room was very good and spotless clean as was the en suite which had everything you could need provided. The food was excellent and the views from the roof top restaurant were amazing. The location was right in the city and everything was within walking distance. However this hotel is not suitable for those with difficulty climbing steps as although there is a lift from reception there are a large number of stone steps to get to reception which we had not been warned about."

We stayed in garden suite for 3 night and the room was top notch. It was haveli styled room. The room were very elegant and clean. The room size was also big and spacious. It also had a big bath tub. The room service was to the point and very humble staff. The location of the hotel is very close to all the prime spot of Udaipur old town. The restaurant is on the terrace and very pretty facing lake pichola. Everything about the property was satisfactory and worth recommending. However, the breakfast needs to improve significantly and also the hospitality at the restaurant/room service. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend the hotel for a loving and memorable stay."

"One of the reasons to travel to Rajasthan is the hospitality of the region. We were not disappointed by Chunda Palace. We were a group of seven couples with kids. We had arrived quite early and although the rooms were occupied the staff did their best to accommodate us and provide assistance with various facility. The stay was pleasant with decent rooms. The view form the rooftop was fantastic , the food was good and service was prompt. Would definitely come here again."

"Our stay started off shakily, however, it ended with us feeling completely pampered and satisfied. The property is located in a very beautiful area surrounded by the Aravali hills and completely off the grid. I say this is reality as the mobile network was non existent while we were making our way to the hotel. The property is vast and the approach is quite long. Upon reaching the hotel lobby, we received a warm welcome from Ms. Nishita and her team. We had reached at dusk and we were quickly taken to our two bed room Mementos Villa. The villa was nice and spacious, and the two bedrooms were well appointed. The washrooms were large and very well designed, with ample amount of natural light seeping in from above. The terrace with the small plunge pool was welcoming and boasted wonderful views of the setting sun in the backdrop of the Aravali mountains. The drawing / dining room was also nicely designed, however, ITC needs to do proper maintenance of its rooms. There were signs of seepage on the walls and the paint and wallpaper were coming off in certain places in the living room and powder room. Further, the villa appeared to not have been cleaned and sanitised properly when we checked in. There was sticky food residue on the dining table and the floor in my bedroom too had foot stains. Other small misses at the outset like the absence of any soap in the powder room and single bars of hand soap by the dual sinks in the washroom made me wary of the standards being set by the Mementos brand. It must be said, however, that the housekeeping team did a rather good job during the 3 nights we spent at the property and all our concerns were addressed promptly. Another miss from the housekeeping team stemmed from the fact that they did not replace the used toiletries from the shower area every day, even when the provided soaps and shampoos were empty. This kind of oversight should ideally not take place at a property of this standard. ITC is famous for its culinary offerings and we were not disappointed at this property. Food anywhere in the resort was excellent. The breakfast experience could be improved, however, the quality and taste of the food during our entire stay were exemplary. During my stay, I also took a therapy at the Kaya Kalp spa. My treatment was very relaxing and it was masterfully delivered by Ms. Diki. I had also booked the hotel transportation for a day tour to Chittorgarh and was provided with a nice luxury sedan. I was chauffeured around by Mr. Dinesh and he was extremely professional and courteous. Service during our stay was excellent. I must highlight and applaud the incredible service we received from Ms. Preshkila, who was our dedicated point of contact for anything and everything during our stay. She was like a genie making all our wishes come to fruition and she took really good care of us. Individuals like Ms. Preshkila are true assets in this industry.
