Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Teugel Uden-Veghel

"The front desk staff were curt, the one lift is weird, the rooms are tattered. The restaurant is nice, though. The bed was comfortable enough and had power others on each side--perfect for two people to charge devices at bedside. There was a mini fridge and coffeemaker. The bathroom was fairly well lit but the toilet area was dark. There was a tub and a separate shower. The shower water pressure was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no towel hooks ANYWHERE, not even a place to hang the hand towel. Looked like something had been torn/broken off the wall near the sink; strange to not fix it. The shower soap dispenser had been torn/broken off the wall & was sitting loosely on the small shelf for shampoo. The door that slides to close off the toilet or the shower was off the track, which was broken. Seems this hotel doesn't care enough about their guests to fix such inadequacies. The WiFi was horribly slow and not password protected (boo!). The free parking was nice. Regardless of the few good aspects of this hotel, if I'm ever in the area again I'll surely look elsewhere."

"Stayed at the Arrow whilst away for work. Hotel had everything you could need, staff were very friendly, bed comfy. Breakfast was great, they don’t serve evening meals but will help order food in. If you don’t need your room cleaned daily (and who does) you can receive a token for a drink at the bar. Nice environmental offer. Nicely placed in the town for eateries and only a ten minute walk to the bus station."

"The reception was professional, polite, and very friendly. We were able to check into our room quickly. It's large, very well furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is also large and equipped with everything you could need. The cleanliness (as throughout the entire hotel) is impeccable. From the outside, the hotel isn't particularly striking, but this impression changes as soon as you enter. Wonderful interior and great architecture. We can recommend dinner in the restaurant; it was very tasty and nicely presented. Here, too, the staff were very attentive to the guests' well-being. The next day, breakfast offered something for everyone, the platters were quickly refilled, and the tables were cleared promptly. It was nice that the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared. Unfortunately, we did encounter some inconsiderate guests. At the next table, there were some younger people—not Dutch—who left the table looking like a garbage dump. You don't treat the staff like that. We only realized this was a Zorg- en Herstelhotel (care and recovery hotel) after we had checked in. It was wonderful to see how the staff cared for the disabled guests. I don't think you find that kind of service in Germany, which is a shame. There's plenty of parking, though it would be nice if it were free. The Wi-Fi is okay. All in all, the price-performance ratio is good."
