"Our first time visiting Udine and we stayed for two nights. We had a Europcar car rental that we dropped in Udine and then departed by train to Trieste. We parked at a reasonably priced parking lot nearby and walked to the hotel and easily walked to train station on our departure. Our room #308 was very comfortable and spotless and offered a nice coffee service as well. The included breakfast was one of the best of our trip. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi works great. Easy walk to the center of town and both nights we enjoyed dinner at Alla Ghiacciaia."

"Ants were all over the floor in our room - in the shower, toilet, and swarming near a rug by the bed. We asked for a new room - hotel was full and they called other hotels but everywhere else was full. So they cleaned the room and we slept there. In the morning the ants were back. They said this was the first time this happened. They gave us 50% off the room (I asked for a full refund and they said no). Also when we ran the air conditioner at night, my husband woke up coughing a lot (zero other symptoms). Turned off the air conditioner and he was fine after about an hour. Also they scolded me for filling up a water bottle with filtered water at breakfast (we are cycling). This was a terrible experience, we had much better stays at budget hotels."
