The location is perfect for sightseeing in Ueda City via the Shinkansen.
I had sushi in Toyama the night before and checked in just after 8pm. There was a welcome drink (until 10pm) in the lobby, so I had some coffee, and then relaxed in the large public bath to warm myself up. There was tea and coffee in the room, but it would have been nice to have coffee.
The breakfast buffet was the kind of hospitality you would expect from Shinshu, with sauteed mushrooms, oyaki, soba noodles, pickled Nozawana, chicken meatballs, and wasabi tsukudani, all of which were delicious.

The facilities and services are good for 400+. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend it to friends with limited budget. (Children pay an additional 2,000 yen per night). Check out at 10 am, which is a bit early

I had a very comfortable stay.
I left something behind, but...
They delivered it to my home and I paid for it, and the service and hospitality was very good.
I will definitely use them again if I stay in Ueda again.

This hotel is near Ueda Station and has good transportation access. We went outside because there was an izakaya we wanted to go to, but there is also an izakaya on the first floor. Apparently they will give you a free beer voucher if you tell the front desk. There is a large public bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. Most hotels have short sauna hours, but this hotel allows you to use the sauna until 2am. I went in after 1am. This is the view from the 6th floor.
