The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating they spoke basic english and they made the effort to translate to help. Service with a smile and I particularly liked that they had everything you needed in terms of amenities such as provided you with face wash, hair shampoo, cleanser etc. They also had a microwave which was handy for you to heat up food from the nearby 7/11 would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

Booked two nights at Cha Inn, day 2 was room 206, the tatami, old furniture and small decorations were very nice, the air conditioner heated the room very quickly. Although it was a shared bathroom and the room was full that night, it was still very convenient. The only downside was that the window was facing a small street and there was occasional car noise, but it happened to be a little tired after walking for a few days, and I soon snored.

The room was very nice. Although the Japanese-style room is small, it is quite comfortable to sleep in. The public bathroom is relatively complete, there is a single room for bathing, and the hygiene is good. There is a lounge on the second floor where you can chat with other travelers and drink beer provided by the hotel. The atmosphere of Jingbuki is there, but not very high. There are washing machines and dryers available for free, but please pay attention to the time when using them. The disadvantage is that it is far away from the Uji Landscape Center and requires a long walk.

The owner is friendly and the facilities are ok. Private locker is paid and there is no TV instead. It's also an advantage to see the owner only when I first greeted and even check out is unmanned. Recommended during off-season. You can use a four-person room alone. The location is a bit out of the way because it is Uji, but it is not too far from Kyoto Station.

That is my first time go to uji with my family. when I looking for the accommodation I was attracted by the tatami room type. It was a good chance for us to deeply enjoy the hot spring and Japanese culture. Room is good, staff is nice, breakfast is really Japanese, most important thing is near the byodoin. Uji is less people at night luckily that we can take the taxi at the keihan uji railway, but there are so many flying ants is freak me out when I get off the railway.
