This gem is runned by a very lovable couple Marla and her husband.
the place is clean and fresh close to the sea and many restaurants around.
Marla can help you with lots of info and arrange trip to anywhere with real value for your money.
Highly recommended.
When we back in Makassar we now know where to go.

I wasnt expecting much from Makassar, just a jump-off for Tana Toraja. But my stay at Ge Jacmart made my 2 nights there beyond my expectations. Great hospitality & so helpful advice what to see & what to try (esp for food options). Marlah & Josh are charming hosts. Excellent location, a block off from Pantai Losari & 2 blocks from a great food street. The optional breakfast was fine & they were invaluable in reserving for me for the Rantepao bus. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, very clean, safe, good a/c, good breakfast. Enough English is spoken to help you to book bus tickets or drivers. Booking through their own website was very easy. Contact them via w/app +62 811.721625. Why such a strange name ? GE(orge) JAC(ob) MART(ha) : owner's husband, father and mother : isn't it cute ?

Located in the center near Pantai Losari and the sea, beautiful, well-appointed and maintained house close to the city center The +s: - Perfect and quiet location in the city - Hearty, tasty and varied breakfast: pancake, Scrabble, fruit, cake - Pleasant room and bathroom - Benevolent kindness of Marlah Georges and Lia - Refined decoration of the common areas The -: - None This is the best quality/price ratio of our one-month trip to Celebes and the rating 5 is of course deserved
