Resort World Terelj

I have been really looking forward to this week in terelj and while staff were wonderful, the stay itself lived up to its 3 stars!! The ladies at the reception along with kitchen and house keep staff were warm and welcoming but service standards are poor. firstly, no fitness room as stated in the description The "luxury twin room" that I had originally booked was horrible compared to the photos. Cracked walls, buzzing bathroom light and dim view. Should never had paid upfront. House keeping required chasing everyday for water refill or tissues or even face towels. Despite several requests, they never provided a face towel or shower gel, items I did not want to carry during my long travels. Restaurant did not have much for vegetarians. No fries either which is usually my last resort but they did not have potatoes. Food and service in other resorts after outdoor activities was incredible my highly anticipated 5 day retreat turned into a disappointment despite several attempts not to get to me. Language and communication is a big problem. It is the lack of clarity that I find most frustrating. No one was able to give me a clear breakdown of my "upgraded" room so they assumed I wanted something cheaper. They couldn't understand my surprise of paying a 4 or 5 star cost for a 2 star hotel. My next stay is at Ramada Hotel, similar price but value for money.

What a terrible place. Never pay upfront. I went here with kids, and what a noisy crappy place. Having two disco parties. Ugh.

Inexperienced employees, managers who are not aware of the rules. we had a really bad experience. the only positive side for the hotel is the location. In a hotel in such a beautiful location, the service is so bad that it can be said to be non-existent. Breakfast is a complete disappointment. the hours told are completely lies. if you want to experience stress in a place where you will stay comfortably, come here.
