Premium Hotel Ulaanbaatar

I just lived in here for one night and it was really terrible. When we came back our room, there was a wooden stick which was supposed on the door was fell and we could not close the door easily. Luckily that our personal belongings were still here, but this was just the start of nightmare. After a while, we found that the air conditioning system was not working well which the temperature could not be adjusted and kept providing 30C temperature. It was very hot and we requested for changing another room. Although we got another room, we found that the toilet had some weird smell which seems haven’t been cleaned and used for long time. I was really disappointed with this hotel because it was really expensive among the area. I would not book this hotel again.

We stayed at Platinum Hotel in Ulaanbaatar with my wife, and overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. We booked a Deluxe King-size room, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful view over the city, which we really enjoyed, especially in the evenings. The bed was large and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any requests and making us feel at home throughout our stay. Their attitude really added to the overall positive impression of the hotel. Breakfasts were also excellent — a good variety of options, everything fresh and tasty, and a great way to start the day. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Platinum Hotel to anyone visiting Ulaanbaatar. It’s a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and friendly service, and we would happily stay here again in the future.

The reception staff and all the other employees were truly friendly and kind. They were quick and efficient with everything. The bathroom was very clean, and the room itself was spacious. Compared to other hotels of the same category, the price was more affordable, yet the room was larger and more comfortable. This is the first hotel, in my experience, that has handled every aspect of guest comfort and service so thoughtfully and well. Even though I have stayed at many hotels, this one stood out as the friendliest. They were also very understanding and flexible when it came to extending the room during checkout time. Many other hotels tend to rush guests or charge extra immediately, but that was not the case here. I will definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return.

This hotel is located in an office building, occupying several floors. There's a convenience store and a coffee shop on the ground floor. Check-in was brilliant! The first at reception spoke some English and checked me in at 7.30 in the morning without a problem. My room was spacious, the bed was large, although on the hard side. At this point the good things about the hotel come to an end. Unfortunately, all the rest is quite bad. The lighting system is broken and you can't turn off the light above the bed unless you take out the key card, but then power outlets go off, so you can't sleep and charge your phone at the same time. Furniture knobs are falling apart, so does the knob on the shower. WiFi was down 2 times during my stay, including a very frustrating 12+ hour outage. Housekeeping doesn't seem to know what a Do Not Disturb sign means, entering the room regardless. Toiletries are the cheapest possible, not corresponding to the hotel name (e.g. Premium), lol. All in all, price/quality ratio was underwhelming. I will not stay here again.

Good location on main street with convenience stores close by. Very clean and nice for local standards. Good for upper end European taste
