Loch Broom Cabins Seaviews& Petfriendly

Chalets are excellent and very clean and warm , all seem to have fantastic views over the loch . Small birds and squirrels 🐿️ all around the place . Great location to explore the general area. Would recommend loch Broom chalets and we had a great stay thank you .

We stayed one night as a bit of a pit stop when exploring the Highlands. I would agree with other reviews that the property is on quite a busy road (that does quieten down at night), which makes the surroundings a bit unexpected. We did find the bed comfy and slept well during our stay, shower was also good. The view was also beautiful. The chalet in general needs a spruce up in terms of condition and decor. We also spotted some issues with cleanliness such as dirt on the recliner sofa, grubby cushions, something (like food) smeered up the side of the WiFi unit, dirty table and chairs outside (in summer), and the bedside cabinet hadn't been wiped down so had some residue that we had to clean up ourselves. I'm afraid we wouldn't return, and would advise others that it's very basic (glad we only stayed one night).

First photo on trip advisor listing is NOT this place it is NOT on a beach. It is off the main road in Leckmelm, a twenty minute drive from Ullapool. Getting up to the chalet entails pressing a buzzer(outdoors in the gravel parking lot), between 4pm and 6pm. Iain, the owner appears in the parking lot and takes you up a crumbling narrow concrete path and stairs to a chalet. He did not accompany us into the chalet. Just told us at the door to schlepp the garbage down to the recycling after our stay. Also to ***** the beds and put laundry in the bag provided. Beds clean and comfortable. Towels smelled of mildew. Kitchen is bare bones. No paper towels or Kleenex anywhere to be found. Toiletries - liquid hand soap in the bathroom

This was a gem that I wouldn't have ever found if I hadn't made a last minute reservation for an event in Ullapool and it was one of the last 3 things left in the area. The chalet was good size, the kitchen is fully equipped, it has a glorious shower, and a comfortable bed. The view out the window is beautiful and peaceful and I loved the well used bird feeder . You are only literally a few minutes out of Ullapool so you have easy access to anything else you might need, or if you are attending an event. The hosts are lovely and helpful as well which made the stay complete.

A great location only 5 minutes from Ullapool. Lovely views with fabulous sunsets. Nice and clean, friendly and comfortable, just as described. We loved watching the birds feeding on our window cill. Highly recommend and would stay again.
