Beautiful countryside apartments near Orvieto. Pietra Campana is a beautiful property set just outside of Orvieto. As a family of four with two teens, we had a rental car driving around the countryside. This property is gated and you need a code to get in which made us feel safe. It is about a ten minute drive into the centre of Orvieto. The property is amazing with a beautiful view of Orvieto which is lit up at night. We were only there for one night and the weather was cold and windy, so we didn't spend more time walking around the property's gardens or sitting out on the patio. We would have enjoyed that element if the weather was better. Breakfast was included which was a simple, buffet style and they prepared our eggs and coffee to order. It was perfect for our needs. We had a clean, two bedroom unit towards the back of the property which granted us the beautiful views of Orvieto. I thought the bathroom was very pretty and it had good shower pressure. The bed was not very soft, but I DID have the best night's sleep of my trip while I was there. They offer laundry service as an amenity but that means they take your laundry and send it out. I had mistakenly assumed that the laundry was in our unit. Francesca, our host, was friendly, helpful and had a lovely personality. The place we chose from her dinner recommendations was delicious. I would come back again to enjoy this location and I would try to be there when it was warmer to take in all that it has to offer.

What a beautiful property to enjoy. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and so friendly. Most incredible view of Orveito from the property. Highly recommend. Definitly need a car to access.

This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had many options, and they will cook for you if you wish. We had a car, there was plenty of parking. The owners were at the property while we were there and provided us with lots of information and conversation. Very nice place, but best it is about a 2 mile drive into the village. If your not driving to Orvieto, you may want to consider staying in town.
