Ureshino Motoyu

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and the hot spring water was amazing. It wasn't crowded since we visited on a weekday, so we could relax and enjoy our time. My family was also very satisfied, making it a truly appreciated accommodation.

Since we were a family, we needed to reply before 3 PM the day before if we wanted to add meals, as it wouldn't be available on the same day. Staying at this onsen ryokan (hot spring inn) allows free access to the onsen across the street. Overall, the hotel service was good, but the front desk staff's English was a bit poor, which needs improvement.

Convenient location with a convenience store nearby. Staff service is average. One night's stay includes two meals. The meals were worse than expected; the food was very basic. Parking is available in front. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. They try their best to assist children with their needs.

Located in Ureshino Onsen town, the hotel is conveniently situated with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are quite new and clean, and the quiet environment ensures a good night's sleep. Free parking is available at the hotel.

The evening meal was exquisite, including Wagyu beef. The rooms were large and clean, but the communal bath was just average.

With inconvenient transportation and limited surrounding businesses, tourists don't necessarily need to go all the way to Xiye to enjoy hot springs.

The service was excellent! At the JR station, go to the service center and ask a staff member to call the hotel! They'll call the hotel to pick you up! We booked a double room. I saw reviews saying the room had an onsen (hot spring) area! That's wrong! There isn't one! It's only outside!

It's a bit far from the JR station. Since I didn't make an appointment in advance for the hotel to pick me up at the station, I had to walk there (I give full marks to the staff at Kobe Station back then. The staff at Ureshino Onsen Station was indifferent) I booked a one-night stay with two meals. The room was the largest in this Japan trip. It also looked newly renovated. The food was generally good. The hot spring was a bit small. There were indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor scenery was not as beautiful as that of Kobe back then. I thought the Japanese service was superb, but when I checked in, they didn't even deliver my luggage to the room. I don't know if it's the same in Japan. But when I checked out, there was a free station delivery service. Overall, this stay was good. Next time I'm going to try Beppu Onsen
