The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was not particularly big but comfortable. Shower not great as there was no splash screen or curtain, so difficult to shower without getting the bathroom wet. A few tips: think of investing into a Hotel mini bus to transport customers as taxis are far and between in this part of Grenoble and too expensive. As a Hotel you can charge visitors. Link the Thermal Spa company's website to the Hotel's so it is easier to book any treatments and see all what the Spa offers. When visiting the Hotel website you get the impression that the Spa is part of it but in fact is it a separate business. It would be to the advantage of both Hotel and Spa to expand the on line exposure. We tried to book a treatment but you need to do this weeks in advance generally, this is not clear when booking the hotel. There was nothing available during our 3 day stay.

The Grand Hotel d'Uriage is an historical building in the middle of a beautiful park with the charm and taste of the XIX century French "Art de vivre". the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The Spa is large with two thermal swimming pool, steam bath and sauna. The gastronomic restaurant is excellent with a very raffinated cuisine elaborated by the chef Carmen. The service is of outstanding quality. One of the best address in France not to be missed

Nous venons de séjourner pour une nuit dans l'hôtel et nous avions aussi réservé le restaurant. Concernant l'hôtel, il est propre et le personnel est souriant et aimable. Cependant, il semble être plus proche d'un 3 étoiles que du 4. La présence de produits Uriage dans la salle de bain est fort appréciable, mais aucun kit de 1ere nécessité (brosse à dent, coton, cape de douche ...). De plus la salle de bain pourrait bénéficier d'une petite rénovation, le miroir est par exemple rouillé. Dans la chambre, une ampoule de grillée, linge de lit troué et le lit en 180 est en fait deux lits en 90 cm, mis côte à côte, sans sur matelas, on sent donc la séparation et les sommiers grincent des que l'on bouge. Concernant le restaurant. Je ne sais pas si tout les services sont les mêmes mais le nôtre à été catastrophique. Remarque du serveur sur une demande de modification de plat, vin servi mais un grande quantité est tombé sur la nappe et l'assiette pour le pain, sans que l'on nous propose de la changer, temps d'attente entre deux plats avoisinant les 30 minutes. Aucune explication du personnel pour ce service catastrophique, sauf un problème avec le miel pour le fromage.... En résumé, séjour très mitigé qui ne m'a pas un bon souvenir.

Une matinée au spa d’uriage avec soir. Accueil très froid et pas très agréable. Soin fait avec professionnalisme. Par contre le spa dans un état de saleté intolérable des toiles d’araignées des crottes de prigeons des coulées sur le carrelages. La femme de ménage fait la poussière autour de la piscine et secoue le chiffon au-dessus de la piscine

Cadre agréable dans un paysage magnifique, des soins, des massages, une piscine. De quoi vous faire passer une belle journée. Ce que nous avons fait et apprécié, avant un excellent repas à la table d'uriage. Nous conseillons cette journée détente. Pour nous c'est à refaire

Un séjour fantastique avec spa, soin, restaurant, nuit mansardée puis petit déjeuner : ce fut un moment hors du temps, l'équipe a bien pu s'adapter du fait de ma grossesse, nous espérons revenir régulièrement profiter de ce genre d'escapade ;)
