It would be impossible to find such a clean, stylish and comfortable hotel anywhere! The fact that it is run by a fabulously hospitable family makes it all the more wonderful.Special mention must go to Joseph who helped us with travel advice for our trip to San Sebastian, his sister who served us attentively and the delightful Maria whose smile greeted us at breakfast every morning.We would return without hesitation!

Amazing!
Staff were amazing, welcoming and so kind. Homemade breakfast and dinner course was awesome as well. We had a course meal for dinner for only 18Euro each which included a whole bottle of wine. It was 40 min away from San Sebastián but I would stay at Larranaga again when I go back!

We arrived about 10:30 without having warned the hotel of our early arrival; the rooms were not ready but the staff were super friendly and helpful and allowed us to put our bags in the rooms, check in and get the keys as we were then off to Bilbao and would not be back till after midnight. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great value with lots of fresh fruit and delicious tortilla. The next morning one of our party needed a taxi at 6am and the hotel were extremely helpful. Although the immediate environs are somewhat industrial the hotel is lovely with ample free parking.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are air conditioned and spatious. The hot water did run out after 1 shower, but it was hot enough not to care! A great lounge area, a fab bar and terrace and the views are idyllic (out the front). Such a genuine let great find, feeling very lucky

Very friendly and accommodating family runs this hotel. Our stay started in a sense about a week early as we had rental e-bikes delivered. They arrived a week before we did and they were safely stored away for our arrival. On arrival into town via bus from Bilbao airport, they drove to town and picked us up. The hotel has charm since it's an ancient building. The next morning, we wanted breakfast but had not booked in advance but they were able to accommodate us at a reasonable price. We didn't have a full dinner at the restaurant but did have excellent wine and small dishes.
