This was an astounding surprise! We arrived in the pizzeria in the Sacred Valley in Peru. First thing we saw was chef Cristian preparing the ragu from scratch: fresh tomatoes, onions garlic, basil and oregano, while the wood-fired oven blazed cheerfully behind. Then Nelva and Yudisa served us impeccably. The pizza base was utter perfection. Crisp, tasty and yet as light as air. The suggestions for local wines were superb, and we ended up, in the middle of Peru(!) having an unforgettable Italian dining experience of which the best in Europe would have been proud. Totally unexpected delight. Thank you!
