Facilities: A bit old. Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Soundproofing is pretty good. Service: Front desk service was excellent. Seasonal fruit platter: Suggest adding more unique options.

Let's start with the positives. The lobby is truly grand, and the price was reasonable. They upgraded my room without any hassle, and they provided purified bottled water (Baisui Mountain brand) with unlimited refills. However, the downsides were so bad that I literally couldn't sleep. In early April in Urumqi, the rooms facing the sun were probably around 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit), but the air conditioning couldn't be turned on. Even with a fan provided, it was still unbearably hot, making it impossible to get any sleep.

Upon arrival, the front desk upgraded our room. It was spacious, well-lit, and clean. The parking lot was also very large. I suggest the hotel install charging stations for electric vehicles.

The lobby is beautiful. As soon as we entered, someone greeted us and helped with our luggage. Check-in was very quick, and the front desk staff were professional.

The room was clean, the service was great, and the buffet at the restaurant was also good. Highly recommended.

Metro station just 2 min walk, connecting all scenic spots and directly to airport by just 5 RMB, no more worries about traffic jam and expensive taxi. Service is excellent, allowed me to early check in as my flight arrived super early in the morning. Will absolutely choose here if I come to Urumqi agai.

The hygiene was good, and the service was excellent. They even had a robot delivering meals! The internet was decent. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would come back again.

Ms. Tian at the front desk was incredibly professional! She enthusiastically upgraded our room, thoughtfully reminded us about the temperature, and provided the museum's operating hours! The breakfast was great and very extensive! The location is convenient, and parking is free!

This hotel in Urumqi is my usual choice, and the conditions are generally good. However, this trip's booking experience was terrible. I encountered a booking trap from Ctrip and felt like I was price-gouged as a Black Diamond VIP customer. Last time, it was a price gouging incident: on July 16th last year, I booked the Guangzhou All Seasons Hotel Huangpu Wenchong store on Ctrip for 403 RMB/night. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that my colleague had booked the same room type through Huazhu Club for over 100 RMB less. I reported it to Ctrip, and they promptly compensated me 400 RMB (see screenshot). Seeing Ctrip sincerely admit their mistake and compensate, and saying it wouldn't happen again, I continued to book flights and hotels with them. Although I often heard about Ctrip price gouging, I didn't pay much attention. This time to Urumqi, I also booked my flights through Ctrip. Due to the late confirmation of the meeting location with the client, I hastily booked a room before my trip to Urumqi, still at the Global Hotel. I saw the booking interface showed a price of 583 RMB for two rooms, with small text above the price indicating a points deduction (as shown). I didn't pay much attention, thinking it was a Black Diamond VIP discount. However, after check-in, I was charged 315,900 points, equivalent to 3,159 RMB (as shown). The actual room rate was 3,742 RMB for 2 rooms for 1 night, or 1,871 RMB per room per night. This price far exceeds my affordability and business trip standards. If it had been clearly priced, we definitely wouldn't have booked such an expensive, over-budget room. I thought the points deduction was a benefit, and it wasn't clearly stated how many points would be deducted. Isn't this an obvious trap? Is this price fraud? I've been negotiating with the platform for several days. They initially offered 75,000 points in compensation, but yesterday they said full cash payment is required. To treat a Black Diamond user of over 20 years like this, I will continue to pursue my rights! Transparent pricing is also a national legal requirement. While Ctrip is convenient for booking flights and rooms, after a few experiences, I want to friendly remind everyone to be careful when booking tickets in the future. Compare flight prices with various airline apps, and try to avoid using Ctrip for hotels. Prices on individual hotel apps will definitely be lower and more accurate.

The room was clean, spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a nice view outside the window. It would be even better if the power outlets were repaired and easier to use; they're probably worn out from age.
