Chalet le Bois Joli

My stay in the mountain-view, very spacious, queen-size bed bedroom was perfect. First and foremost, the owners were outstandingly helpful and welcoming. Their help and advice was priceless especially as I stayed during the off season, when many facilities are closed in Bonneval (but the calm and silence are exceptional !). Well located up in the old part of the village, the chalet is big and well split between the private area and three for-rent apartments. Mine was comprised of three bedrooms (I rented only the largest one) and a spacious living room with a very well furnished kitchen (lots of kitchenware, dishwasher, etc...). You can get there by bus and then walk everywhere, whether to dine, shop, ski or hike. If you drove, you can park your car on a lot not too far away. A wonderful sauna, a cosy relaxing area, and a laundry are shared with other guests. the whole chalet was well maintained and very clean. If I have to find one weakness, then it should be reminded that being in a chalet, sound insulation is not as good. But during my stay, all 3 different families were extra careful and discreet. All in all, location, space, equipment and style deserve five stars, as well as the owners!
