"We had a lovely time at Naurons. The property was beautiful and great value for money. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is very close to town and easily accessible by car."
Cathedral Peak Hotel ★★★★
"My kids described Cathedral Peak Hotel as their best holiday ever! From scenic hikes and exciting horse riding adventures to thrilling quad biking and a fantastic kids' play area, there was never a dull moment. And last but certainly not least, the amazing food was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable family getaway."
Cayley Mountain Resort ★★★★
"We had a well rested and peaceful week. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. I'm disappointed that we didn't have a balcony and the braai area was inside the house. Spend the day at the beach club the kids had fun but there were limited activities for us (the pedal boat were not working). We also did afternoon boat cruise, the skipper was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the pap and relish it was divine. Dragon was helpful with the kids and braaing. We are definitely coming back."

"Nice resort with very beautiful scenery of the drakensberg mountains. Food was good, variety so there was something for everyone. Unfortunately we did not get to use the pool because it was raining constantly. But overall, i would recommend this hotel ."
Royal Hotel Ladysmith ★★★

"WE WENT THERE TO CELEBRATE OUR 56TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. OLD BUILDING BUT EXCELLENT AMBIANCE AND NICE SHADED PARKING. THE ROOM WAS HUGE AND THE SHOWER WAS GOOD WITH NICE HOT WATER. THE BEST PART OF OUR STAY WERE THE EXCELLENT DINNERS WITH STEAK THE FIRST NIGHT AND LAMB CHOPS THE SECOND NIGHT COOKED TO PERFECTION. LOVELY THREE COURSE MEAL. WE FURTHER ENJOYED OUR OUTING TO THE SPIOENKOP BATTLEFIELD WHICH IS ABOUT 30KMS FROM THE LODGE."

"Three Tree Hill is simply a place I wholeheartedly recommend. I can’t put into words just how much I—or rather, we—enjoyed our stay. The accommodations are a dream; they have everything you could possibly want. The entire staff is very kind and attentive. A special thank you goes to the owners, Cheryl and Simon. They make you feel like part of a family. They offer a wide variety of activities that let you experience the culture, nature, and wildlife (guided hikes, horseback riding, village visits, and much more). The food is excellent. Thank you so much—I’ll be back."

Esiweni Luxury Safari Lodge
"Esiweni Lodge truly exceeded our expectations for our honeymoon! From the moment we got there, we were greeted by the entire staff with a warm welcome. Not only was the lodge absolutely stunning, quiet, and peaceful, but the level of service from the staff we experienced was like nothing we've ever had before. They were extremely attentive to us, and anything we asked for, the answer was yes. There was a bottle of champagne and snacks waiting for us when we arrived. Alex, the manager during our stay was always there when we needed something and was super quick to assist us. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without him! The room was also cleaned and tidied up about 4x a day, and the staff set us up a bubble bath every night after our second game ride! The game rides started at 6am, with coffee and cookies given to us before we left. We came during a cold front, and the truck included ponchos and heated water bottles, which really kept us warm. Robert, our ranger was incredible from day 1. He went out of his way to make sure we saw every animal we wanted to, and got as close to them as possible. On our first game ride, we had a lion and lioness walk right by the car! Lastly, THE FOOD! Esiweni has their own chef, and he is absolutely incredible. Every single meal was tailored towards us - we told him to make some of his favorites, since we're not picky eaters, and it seemed like every meal got better and better every day, with the portion sizes being huge. He also came out to check on us after every meal. During each meal, the wait staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food came out so quickly, they pulled out a chair for us every time we sat down, and everything was just perfect. On our last night, they set up a surprise traditional African BBQ where we sat around the fire and enjoyed the delicious food and drinks. Esiweni truly made our honeymoon an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to South Africa for a Safari experience. The level of quality and service was unmatched. We just got back a week ago, and we already miss the entire staff. We hope to be back one day soon!"
Nambiti Plains
"Our third visit to Nambiti Plains and it won't be our last. It's such a special place with the most amazing team to look after you whilst you are there. From the wonderful rooms, each with wildlife right outside, to the exceptional food which just keeps on coming. You won't go hungry here! But the real star of the show is the Nambiti Reserve. The scenery is truly awesome, the added bonus of brilliant game sightings on each and every drive just makes it the perfect safari destination. Thanks to Magdel, Bettie, Cindy, Jono, Chef Roy and his team and particularly Cait for her daily game drives. Your enthusiasm is infectious."
