"These are basic, bare, small rooms with the amenities of a bar of soap and liquid shower soap, suitable for a one-night stop. I was concerned about the noise of an extended family gathering in the courtyard outside our room, but the door sealed well, so no problem. The owners were kind enough to lend an electric kettle, but can be quite strict. You absolutely must not show up before 4 p.m., which we didn't discover until after we booked and prepaid. We would have stayed elsewhere if we knew. The neighbourhood is quite suburban and rather dreary for walking to town. If you have a car, I recommend parking halfway, at the cemetery, and then walking along pleasant lanes into the old city."

"Great "inn", beautifully restored old silk worm factory from 1800's. The female manager is terrific. She speaks English and has thought of everything to make us comfortable. Her breakfast is full of homemade and local items, and the birds are happily singing on the large grounds. Swimming pool, too!"

"It’s not- NEVER ever a 5 star hotel It’s not that difficult to find unless you arrive out of the hours of their porterage…if you come out of porterage hours may the Lord help you…..you’d never find it….the access street has a no entry sign🙈 Arrival porter was great but had two days off…and that was it‼️‼️ The actual hotel is a good three star very well converted but the suite we had was only average…lacked conversion detail.. No sockets by bed…a shower that’s not fictional….they are trying to be 5 star….but for the price it’s not professional We got back at 3.00 pm room not attended to and again no staff on duty. Porter didn’t turn up on our departure day so we had to man handle a lot of luggage…..and all panic as the porter ( nice chap) is the valet didn’t arrive so no car from the garage 10 minutes away “ running” The receptionists were so pleasant on both days. Their restaurant is down the road …on a rainy night -no way-it was excellent but like this hotel not inexpensive…. It lacks a managers personality…. They just want your money( sorry but true) Relais you need to appraise this hotel …no sign of management ability…the spar was shut and they charge for the tiny plunge pool ….nice outdoors tiny pool but lacked service detail… you had to ask for everything It could be good but with management that know the business…. Would we go back … at that price with the services not a cat in hells chance. PITY …as Uzes is absolutely gorgeous town."
