Ndlovu Safari Lodge

I stayed at Ndlovu Safari Lodge in mid-April shortly after getting engaged, and the experience was beyond incredible. My group and I instantly fell in love with the lodge. The attention to detail was unreal — from the design of the rooms to the stunning views, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The food was fantastic, and the staff made our trip truly unforgettable. April, our safari guide, was the absolute best — she got us up close with all the animals and somehow always had us there before any other vehicles arrived. Her knowledge and instincts were unmatched. Zach, our server, brought so much warmth and joy to our trip. We absolutely loved him — he made every meal feel special and brought such a great energy to the experience. And Maria, the masseuse, has golden hands! Her massages were next-level relaxing and such a treat after long days out on safari. The owners were onsite during our stay and their passion for the lodge and its guests was so clear. It’s rare to find a place where everything — people, service, setting — aligns so perfectly. I truly can’t wait to go back.

The attention to detail and comfort was exceptional, the lodge is beautiful, the rooms are unbelievably comfortable, pristine, beautiful and the touches appreciated. These things don’t happen without plenty of effort behind the scenes. The staff are warm, friendly and go that extra mile. The food is delicious and the view from the table sublime! We visit lodges frequently - this one will definitely be on the “return list”

A truly wonderful place to stay- the staff are amazing and the setting is just stunning. We were so well looked after, having fantastic game drives, delicious food and a most relaxing and luxurious time. It is a small and cosy lodge that is so special. Eating a delicious breakfast after an early morning game drive overlooking zebras and warthogs is unforgettable. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Over the years, we’ve stayed at 11 different luxury safari lodges in Welgevonden but this was our first visit to Ndlovu. Without doubt, Ndlovu is the most luxurious.
