”I was driving with my family and we were all exhausted and in need of a place to rest. We came across Baymont Inn by Wyndham and decided to give it a try. I was impressed by how clean the hotel was, and despite the large number of cars in the parking lot, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. we were able to get a good night's sleep and continue our journey feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend Baymont by Wyndham Valdosta at Valdosta Mall, to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while traveling with kids.”

This is a property that was probably top drawer in Valdosta, but no doubt thanks to Covid, slipped two notches while the price went up two notches, and I don't get it. the staff is lovely, and you can tell the building has good bones, but it is like the owners just want to let it slip-slide away. What a fricken shame!

We decided to try a stay since this location was fully renovated. We were cheerfully greeted by Ashley R. Ashley, accommodated us beautifully! She is an excellent multitasker too. (She courteously & thoroughly attended everyones needs (via phone, lobby walk ins, including us too)! Ashley is a lovely forefront for your Corporation (you are blessed to have her)! The rooms were nicely cared for too. Thank you for placing Ashley at the forefront of guest services at the Macon, Ga. location. She' s a definite asset & made our stay very pleasant. Such a shame. I could have given this hotel a five star rating. Problem is that it is so close to I-75 that the traffic noise is unrelenting all night. We even had our sound machine with us, and we could still hear the traffic. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, the room beautiful, staff friendly, good breakfast. I would have liked to put this on my list of places to stay in the future, but unfortunately, because of the noise, we will not. Hotel is well aware of the noise as we found ear plugs in the bathroom after we had checked in. We eventually used the ear plugs, but guests should not have to do that. The next morning I was told by a staff member that our room was on what is referred to as ”the noisy side” of the hotel.

Hotel was OK. Problem with elevators that should have been told to us when we checked in. Several people at front desk, but no mention of this, although they were clearly having issues. When we returned from dinner there was an elevator repair man riding with passengers in the elevator. That kind of problem should be told to guests, we don't know if someone got stuck or what the problem was. It took a long time to for the elevator to come so we knew something wasn't right. Our room was OK. I needed another pillow and none of the ones in the closet had cases. I had to call down for one.

The photos of this place are deceiving. This place is sharing a pool and a parking lot with the super 8 next door. It is not a very nice or safe feeling place to us. There were lots of homeless people everywhere at this exit. The parking lot looked like a campground. There were people grilling and drinking beer everywhere right outside your door.

We stayed here when we evacuated Florida from Hurricane Milton. We were lucky enough to get a room when everything else in the area was sold out. But in addition, we were given reasonable prices. A clean and spacious room and very courteous service. When we needed certain items Cindy from housekeeping was very helpful. Their cable was still out from Helene. But, their internet was strong and we were able ro stream from our favorite services on our computer. We were VERY pleased overall with the service and room.

After a lengthy trip for business I arrived in Valdosta after 1 AM. The night office manager was prompt and courteous getting me signed in. The room on the ground floor was immaculate. There were plenty of towels and the bed had three large pillows. The room had a fresh Spring aroma which aided in having a restful nights sleep. The shower was clean and had more room than most I've seen. This Motel 6 will be where I stay on future trips to this area. (10/2/19)

All staff was ultra pleasant. The property was very clean. My family and I felt very safe. However, the layout of the bathroom was ridiculous. You walk right into the toilet. You have to squeeze into the vanity to close the door. If you lean up against the toilet your calves rub against it. That is gross. We stayed one night, so we tolerated it. We were in room 521....it butted up to the elevator. The elevator was not as quiet as assumed. Waaaa....humming up. Waaaaa humming down. Up and down, down and up. Stop, start. Stop, start. Totally not cool. Finally, Marriott often does not credit my points until I chase them down. I even when I ask during check in or check out if my points will be credited. That alone makes me want to ”cash” out and go back to the Holiday Inn. 4.5 stars.

GGuest Useri and my spouse have stayed here twice each year for a number of years. We like the back side away from the highway and the suites are clean and spacious. Mini refrigerator is large enough to hold food from a medium cooler and beverages from a small cooler and importantly has a small freezer on top for our polar ice packs. Bravo. (Too many lack the freezer). Post Covid they once again offer hot breakfast (including eggs, sausage, and waffles) and other cold options - always sufficient for us . But this year the scrambled eggs were way too salty, and I never remember that in the past. The staff said they had not added salt, so the mix was a terrible choice/brand. Frankly anyone can add salt to taste (salt and pepper were provided) but you can't take it out. As retired (& older) both of us take medication for high blood pressure and look for low sodium on anything we buy. In our view if you can taste the salt in food from restaurants or store, it is too much. It may not taste bad but it is still not needed - salt can always be added to taste. But in this case those eggs tasted like brine - way too salty. Just unnecessary. After a few bites I had to toss them out, but managed with the waffle and sausage. So to management, please find an unsalted egg mix. The evening before we enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Peking Cafe a couple of blocks away and we highly recommend it if you like Asian food. Would be 5 stars if not for the eggs.

OourhopeslegacyThis stay was horrible from beginning to end. If I were Days Inn I would be embarrassed to have my name on this facility. The staff were not friendly, the breakfast was a joke at best, the towel rack was ripped out of the wall, the drapes didn't even match it was 2 completely different curtains on the window. The table and 1 chair was missing from the room. We put our do not disturb sign up but yet our room was entered anyway while we were gone. One of the elevators was out of service with caution tape over the open door. The pool was empty but you are not told until check in. The 1st floor ice maker didn't work and the 3rd floor ice maker was missing. They collected a $150 cash deposit that they refused to return until I produced a physical receipt even though the money was in their drawer wrapped in a duplicate receipt with my name and room number but yet they couldn't refund until I produced a physical ”copy”. I feel this is a money scam, how many deposits do they keep for lost receipt copies knowing good and well they have a copy with proof sitting in their drawer.

GGuest UserWe showed up a 5AM and needed to clean up and sleep a while. The excellent desk lady gave us an extra hour (beyond the 11AM check out), then the cleaning crew were advised to give us another hour slack. Superb management, superb service.... Thank you!!!!! Very nice people!
