Fabulous hotel when you are visiting the Estrella mountains great welcome lovely rooms very accommodating hosts, ideal place for our visit would happily return to explore some more even in the summer the peak has snow on it which created a fab scene

We had a lovely stay at this property after a hectic 10 days between Lisbon and Porto. Welcoming family, lots of space and the freshest breakfast was our favourite of the typical Portuguese breakfasts. They were gracious with our early checkin and late checkout. We found nearby Manteigas and Serra da Estrela in general charming with incredible food and cocktails.

Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place toiletries. Property is so very tranquil…owners even shared freshly picked plums with us and happily chilled our own bottle of wine we enjoyed having on cute outside table and chairs as we watched the sunset behind us! One of the most charming places we have stayed during our decades of travel to different locations! I give it beyond five stars out of five!

The place is an old olive oil mill, that was transformed into a B&B, preserving the ancient characteristics. The result is fantastic. I strongly recomend this property!

O local não corresponde ao anunciado. Falta de limpeza nos quartos, falta de caixotes de lixo. Proprietários mais velhos, extremamente intrusivos. O rio anunciado é de acesso público e a praia mais próxima é a pagar. Pequeno almoço a desejar e se for domingo, o pão não é fresco. Valor correspondente a um hotel de 5 estrelas, mas sem as regalias promovidas por estes. Num local tão quente, não existe qualquer equipamento para refrigerar água ou fruta no quarto.

Localização paradisiaca. Imovel muito bonito e bem recuperado. Staff atencioso e simpatico a recomendar melhores restaurantes e locais a visitar. Sala confortavel com lareira e limpa. Espaço exterior confortavel para ler. Junto ao rio Zezere, no verao da para tomar banho.
