Residencia Universitaria Damia Bonet

I was really looking forward to my stay in Valencia/Spain. Unfortunately, my vacation in this hotel was a disaster. I was on the 5th floor right next to the stairs and opposite the elevator. The room was very dark and unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, even though I didn't air it out much. A group of young people from Italy were staying on the other side of the elevator. Sleeping was out of the question, as these young people were partying loudly in their room with loud music until three in the morning and inviting their friends from other floors to join them. At three in the morning, after their loud party, they said goodbye in front of the elevator, which was directly opposite my room, in a loud voice and shouting. When it finally quieted down at half past three, sleeping was still out of the question, as there were a lot of mosquitoes in my room. I was dead tired all day due to lack of sleep. The young people held these parties like this every night. Several conversations with the young people were fruitless, as they always laughed at me or insulted me and were aggressive towards me. I then turned to reception for help. The staff were always dismissive and sometimes unfriendly. They remained inactive and the situation did not change. I stayed in this hotel for ten days and I longed to return to Germany. It was my worst stay in a hotel. The worst thing I found was that not even reception did anything to ensure that the night was quiet on the 5th floor. The supervisor of the young people was also unfriendly and aggressive towards me and was very relaxed because she was staying in a different part of the hotel, far away from the young people. I was even afraid to go to my room because the young people were always aggressive towards me and called me names when they met me. I was happy when my stay was over and I could leave this cold hotel and the unfriendly, unhelpful staff at reception behind me. I therefore recommend staying in another hotel so that the holiday is a nice experience and not, like mine, a catastrophic experience full of anger and no sleep.
