Hijacking My Money
Booked through trip.com for a 4-day stay, but my Visa got denied. I'd love to stay at the hotel so I informed the hotel almost two months in advance to negotiate the change of check-in dates. The manager first agreed to change the date of my reservation. Still, when I asked the Trip.com agent to forward my message about alternative check-in dates, the manager rejected my request and kept saying there is nothing they can do, and ended up charging me the full 700 dollars...
I had no idea why the hotel was so capricious in this case, but one thing I can be sure, the hotel had no intention of helping its customer solve the problem, but only wanted to get the money

The room we were given wasn't cleaned, so we had to go to the front desk several times... If you can explain the situation and ask for a different room, it will be fine.
