Wow, if you want to feel in Spain , this is the place. Millan is the owner and underestimates his English, but this fella has a diamond here. You walk into something that could be a movie set. This is a guest house, so don't expect loads of facilities, but you won't regret staying here. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. With a short walk to Plaza mayor, it is out of the way but convenient. Just thinking about this place makes me smile. Thanks, Millan.

Walking into the posada St Millan is like walking back in time or onto a film set from a Shakespeare film set. The galleried courtyard is just stunning, comfortable rooms with comfy beds, the lovely relaxing garden and wonderful breakfast. Millan and his team offer the perfect retreat from the hubbub of the modern world. 5 star recommendation for this wonderful posada.

We stayed 2 nights in this nice hotel and place. We got one of the rooms with a view and could enjoy the afternoon in the nice chairs with a good book enjoying the view of the valley. The hotel is situated 5 min walk from the main square, and we enjoyed very much to stay in the historical surroundings. We had to leave early in the morning of our last day, too early to have breakfast, and the owner offered a nice breakfast bag for us. We’d love to come back to Sepulveda, and would definitely come back to Prosada de San Millan!

I'm at the end of a week long walking holiday. The Posada has been perfect for me. Beautiful building, great location (for exploring Sepulveda and the Duraton Gorge), good food nearby. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The brekfast was good. Best of all, the staff were friendly and went beyond the call of duty to ensure I had a great stay. I would love to come back.

So many hotels slip away from your memory after you stay but not this one. The historic facade and open air courtyard are remarkable. The room was clean but quite basic, but the lovely garden mad guest lounge more than made up for it as a place to spend time. Staff were friendly and welcoming and unusually for this region some English was spoken.

Because my wife and I initially got a room with two beds, we ended up staying in two rooms during our 6-day stay at this lovely posada. A few specifics: Location: It's hard to have a bad location in this tiny town. The posada is a 5-minute walk from the plaza mayor. This is compensated for by the quiet surroundings, a panoramic view over the gorge and convenient on-site parking. The town itself has a very atmospheric plaza (love the church facade with stork's nest atop), but a very limited selection of restaurants, many of which closed unpredictably. We quickly tired of the local cuisine: slabs of roasted meat, potatoes, eggs, cured ham; not terribly inventive and nary a green vegetable in sight. Bar La Queda and Samoa Cafetería Restaurante offer tapas and other alternatives to the usual. Breakfast: The best we had in Spain. The usual fare, but of a very high quality. Staff: Alex the owner was friendly and accommodating. His helper, Ronny, was delightful: gregarious, entertaining and very helpful. Room(s): Both were terrific. Beds were comfortable, and shower temperature and pressure were downright impressive. Decor: This deserves special mention. Staying here is like staying in a museum. The place is chock-a-block with endlessly diverting antiques and trinkets. It is obvious that a lot of work has gone into the design and decoration. Also, the courtyard is gorgeous. Negatives? Really, none. The *********** listing claims they offer laundry service, when in reality we were told that it might be possible to arrange for this, but only one day out of the week.
