Le Bec Au Cauchois

The Coquelicot room is simple but functional, with a lovely view of the pond. But: - the room at 170€ is not spacious enough for my taste. - it is not equipped to be able to have breakfast there because there is only one chair. There is okay like the bed as a seat but it is not very practical. - the arrival in the room with the cars parked just in front of each American motel-style entrance door, I find that very average - the terrace and the outdoor table filled with dead leaves (it is certainly autumn) are neglected . - in the middle of a period of energy sobriety, putting the heating on 5 when it is 20 degrees outside is nonsense. Let us note all the same and this is what is also important: - the quality of the bedding - the quality of the breakfast with its homemade products

We returned to Bec au Cauchois for an Nth lunch. If the environment has changed somewhat, the quality of what is served to customers is still there, and I would even say that it has evolved for the better. The marriages of flavors are always a treat for the taste buds. The service is still top notch. The presentation of the dishes is always so beautiful even when you take the market menu!

Le menu Tentation est un festival d'odeur, de saveur et de couleur automnales. Un pur bonheur, delicieux, en résumé parfait. Je conseille ce restaurant beau, excellent au cœur de notre belle Normandie. L'accueil et le service sont admirables.

On nous a offert un dîner côté cuisine,c est une expérience unique et inoubliable nous voyons toute la préparation des mets proposés et le chef et sa brigade sont à notre écoute pour répondre à nos questions repas excellent organisation au top et le chef et son personnel sont très accueillant et sympathique 👍👍👍

Nous avons dormi dans ce lieu très agréable, la chambre est très moderne et pratique, et le couchage parfait. Petit bémol sur la terrasse qui est très proches des autres avec peu de séparations. Par contre c'est très sympa la vue sur le lac ! Ne pas hésiter à dormir sur place !
