La Casa Piola
"The accommodation is very well located on a mountain. Restaurants, pizzerias and small bars are easy to find in the area. During the day I would say the accommodation is safe, but at night I would recommend always taking a taxi or Uber to the accommodation. The breakfast was good and the bread is home-made. You can also cook very well there and there are all the necessary kitchen utensils. Otherwise everything was very clean and we were satisfied. There was only cold water in the showers. Make sure to pay online in advance otherwise there will be fees that were not displayed in advance."
Ibis Valparaiso
"Good location, convenient for travel"
La Mancha Art Hostel
Hotel Latitud 33º Sur
"I challenge anyone to find a better hotel in Valparaíso. Veronica and Eduardo were fantastic! Very attentive. We felt at home. They also recommended great places to visit. Regarding breakfast, it's delicious and plentiful. Also regarding food, I recommend having lunch at the "Moneda de Oro" restaurant (just search for it on Google and you'll find it easily). The location is also perfect! From our room, we had a wide view of the city, and we could see one of the city's tourist streets up close (I recommend trying to stay in the superior room, the first room on the right). In short, you can stay there without fear of being happy."
Hotel Diego de Almagro Valparaíso
"The breakfast was quite rich with fruits, the room was quite large, and there was a supermarket around the corner for shopping. The only thing I was worried about was the location, which seemed a bit unsafe, so I didn't dare to go out at night."
BO Hotel & Terraza
"I spent 5 nights here and I loved this place! Rooms have high ceilings and a lot of character. Spotless and clean. Amazing roof deck that has perfect views of Valparaiso. They have an excellent restaurant on the weekends and cocktails. The neighborhood is friendly and close to all of the action and attractions. Great staff that gave me good advice and guidance here. Will definitely stay here again!"

Casa Puente Hotel Boutique
"The service at this hotel cannot be beat. Also, it is very secure. The breakfast will fuel you for a day of sights. The decor is beautiful. The gate and the main door lock. Someone is always aware when you come and go to unlock them. Any need I had was attended to promptly."

Gervasoni Hotel Boutique
"Centrally located in the tourist zone, easy walking distance to a multitude of sites, one of 20 + funiculars, restaurants and shops. Fabulous breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner provided transport to the Santiago airport at the conclusion of our stay. Funky older establishment with lots of stairs and no elevators."
New Voga Guesthouse
"This place was a true oasis! The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed down to every detail, and our room was even better than we expected. We had a larger room on the second floor, and it was bigger than our first apartment in the U.S. It faced the street but was incredibly quiet, which was a must for me. We arrived early, but Paula, the owner, was more than happy to let us leave our luggage and she recommended a few cute spots around town for us to explore while we waited. Her hospitality made us feel welcome right away. Breakfast was delicious and personally prepared and served by Paula herself, which added such a nice, personal touch to the stay. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was especially perfect for me because I needed a quiet, relaxing place after traveling through Santiago and other busy areas the previous days. One tip: you definitely do not want a car in Valparaíso. Everything is within walking distance, and Uber is very easy for getting to and from the bus station. Highly recommend staying here!"
Casablu Hotel
"A very nice hotel. Excellent welcome. Impeccable service. A superb address located in the Cerro Alegre district. I highly recommend it."
Hotel Ecomusic
"The hotel is a simple, clean, well located hotel and very affordable price. The hotel is not offering breakfast and has no attention to a chain hotel, but it doesn't matter: comfortable beds, bad bathroom, good wave receptionist and Bob Marley photos."
Hotel Brighton
"What you see is what you get. The room is exactly the same as the picture, a little smaller, but it has everything. The location is good, halfway up the mountain, the restaurant faces the sea, and the view is good"
Departamentos Puerto Claro
Ayca la Flora Hotel Boutique
"A beautiful sanctuary in the bustling bohemian art quarter of Valparaiso. The hotel offers a warm welcome with drinks in the stunning gardens. The rooms have everything you need for a comfy stay and the staff are helpful from finding local restaurants to solving travel queries. Definitely a chilled and relaxing place to stay."
Casa Galos Hotel & Lofts
"Clean and tidy, the reception is very enthusiastic! Breakfast is not bad!"
Fauna Hotel
"We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Staff were super helpful, restaurant had great views over the city and delicious food. We ate lunch and dinner there. Our room was authentic and simple. Beware that there are no lifts so heavy suitcases slightly challenging. It is situated near the vehicular so all ok for visiting the bay."
Casa Vander Hotel Boutique
"Great location (Cerro Alegre), wonderful vibe, very bohemian. Staff was superb and extremely attentive. Great homemade breakfast included in the stay. Great views from the 3rd-floor balcony. Some pant and freshening up and it's a 5! (Actually, our stay was more like a 4.5)"
Palacio Astoreca
"There appears to be a growing trend nowadays, for hotels to call themselves 'Boutique', when they are far from it. This is certainly not the case here. There is a classiness to the hotel, from the moment you enter; it's like objects have been carefully placed around the hotel, asking to be photographed. But it's not all show. There is a delightful balcony and relaxed seating areas. The room itself is clean and modern, and has good facilities. If I was being picky, there was no charging point next to the bed, but not a game-changer. The staff were friendly and helpful, and reception monitor people coming into the grounds, with a locked/monitored front gate. There was a great selection at breakfast (including a great choice of tea!), and whilst the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, we enjoyed, possibly the best Italian meal that we've had anywhere in the world, for lunch. And again, the restaurant itself was beautiful and photogenic."
