Comfort Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown City Center
3.8/595 Reviews
My husband and I went to a concert at Ridgefield Amphitheater and checked into The Comfort Suites at about 11pm. This place was pretty bad but especially when you consider we paid $186 per night. The check in was smooth and the guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. Then we got to the room. The soap dispenser was broken, the towel I started to use was filthy, the vent in the bathroom was dirty, there was a bloodstain on the comforter and the chair had some kind cigarette melted burn. I realize there is a shortage of employees in the hospitality industry but to pay almost $200 a night for this was rather shocking.
Comfort Suites Near Vancouver Mall

I went to the location near the Vancouver Mall. I walked in to see about getting a room. I was told they were booked for the night. I back outside and went and talked to my dad in his truck. We made a game plan to go down the road and try somewhere else. I walked back to my car with my little sister and realized my key for my car had broke and the chip to start my car was missing. My sister and I started retracing our steps to hopefully find the chip to my car. Within 5 minutes of us looking a very rude security guard came out. I explained my situation and that I was just looking for the chip to my car so that I could leave. He tells me that I have 10 minutes and if I am not gone off the property he will have to call the cops. I told him I understood where he was coming from and I'm doing my best. He comes back to me 7 minutes later and tells me I am out of time I need to leave the property. I explained to him I haven't found the chip to my car but I was doing my best to find it. I may have dropped it in my dad's truck but my phone was dead and I had no way to contact my dad. I was hoping once my dad realized I wasn't behind him he would turn around and come back. The security guard proceeds to tell me that it is not his problem and that he does not give a sh**. I told him ok I get that and there is no reason to cuss at me. He tells me to leave now because the cops are coming. I tell him that's okay let them come and I will explain my situation. He proceeds to stand there and repeat himself telling us that the owners want us off there f*** property. I said I would love to talk to the owners and let them know I'm just trying to find the chip to my car I came here looking for a room. I'm not doing anything illegal I'm not causing any problems I came here to stay a few nite but u guys dont have any rooms. My little sister asks him if he was ok with send 2 girls down the road at 130 a m. With no phone and no car... He says he doea not give a f***. I reminded him that he did not need to be cussing at us. Then I would love to talk to the owners since they want me off their property so badly. He continued with foul language and harassing us as we're trying to find the trip to my car. I finally just blocked my car up and walked down the road with my sister. I had to call the cops so the cops could escort me back onto the property so I can continue looking for my chip. Finally my dad came back and yep it fell in his frunt seat... Never have I been treated like that or talked to like that by a company that I was willing to give my money to.
