Great location! It's within walking distance to the beach, and you can also easily get to the big football statue. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby, plus a 7-Eleven convenience store.

Vancouver's hotel prices are really high, so I booked a room without a private bathroom. The shared bathrooms weren't cleaned often enough; even though there weren't many people using them, they still weren't very clean. One time, there was no shower gel, but luckily I'm a guy so it wasn't a big deal. Also, the gap under the door was quite large, so soundproofing and light blocking weren't great.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!

Very nice staff at reception. Rooms have been recently refurbished and are very comfortable. Every floor has its own eating room as it is a former YWCA. Very close to both BC Place and Rogers Arena and downtown

A cosy room with comfortable beds. The well equipped kitchen is definitely a bonus. Eating breakfast quietly next to the bc place, a city landmark is awesome.

The staff at Hotel Wello were incredibly friendly and helpful. Its central location is fantastic, with plenty of great food options nearby. Within a 10-minute walk, you can find pho and McDonald's. It's also a short walk to the library. In the evening, Chinatown and the Gas Clock are about a 20-minute walk away. What's more, some staff members speak Cantonese and gave me excellent recommendations for local eateries. The hotel is also very close to the stadium, which is worth visiting if you have time. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again; the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

This was my first solo trip here, and I managed to get the additional visa all by myself. My foreign language skills aren't great, but I DIY'd my itinerary and visa online. Both immigration and the hotel front desk were quite patient with me. I arrived at the hotel at night, and the room was pretty clean. It's also not far from the station. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The staff were courteous and friendly, we arrived early and they were very accommodating allowing us to check in prior to our scheduled time. They were also very knowledgeable and took the initiative to let us know what services were available and how we could enhance our stay. They also offerred to hold our bags before and after our stay allowing us the freedom during our trip. Overall it was a fantastic stay at Hotel Willo
