I visited for a work function, and will try not to do so in future. I was on the 8th floor, and there was some sort of party going on (I've been told there's some sort of dance function on the 6th floor each night). One of the things that I look for in a hotel is the ability to sleep, without pounding music shaking the walls into the small hours of the morning - apparently, you have to be on a much higher floor to be able to enjoy your sleep. The chair in the room was not well suited for sitting in, which technically is the main function of a chair. I suppose it would have been a useful place to store clothing, instead, as that was also limited in space. I guess having a window leading to the bed area in the shower does provide more light - fortunately, I wasn't sharing the room with anyone. The signage is also minimal - you'd think it would be easier to find your way to where check in is, or to find where the lounge is to wait for taxis or Ubers. I did enjoy the wood in the hotel, it looked nice. Staff likewise seemed nice, and the avocado toast was tasty and attractive.

Best Hotel in Vancouver! !! A few business trips, lived in the four seasons, Shangri-La, Pantai, I feel that they are all just chain hotels. The magnificent decoration style is antique, elegant and very style. Nothing in the lot said that it was convenient to go anywhere. The attitude at the front desk was very good. Will choose Rosewood next time

Did not bring breakfast. It is said that the indoor pool results in only one large hot spring bath. The swimsuit was useless. The restaurant is quite good, there are many people, just by the sea. The holiday is good. There is no supermarket around the hotel, and it is not convenient to add things. The surrounding restaurants are suitable for dinner, no breakfast and light meals. There is no toothpaste to buy by yourself. Slippers and bathrobes are available on request. Maybe I forgot to tip, and yesterday, the free mineral water did not make up.

We queued up at 4pm to check in with several other guests, most of whom had also had their luggage held while waiting on check in. The reception staff were lovely and doing their best but the 4pm check in really affected our day and initial enjoyment of Vancouver. Additionally, the room we received did not match the price we paid. It was quite disappointing. The 'jacuzzi' was a standard bathtub with some jets, my partner and I took in turns of using it (rather than sharing as we had excitedly intended). The room was also located next to the communal kitchen which had loud and excited guests socialising in it. We couldn't use the laundry as we didn't have coins (at no stage in the previous 2 weeks in Canada had we required or used any physical cash). More then half of the electrical sockets in the room did not work. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of glasses, mugs, cutlery and plates etc. We were just provided with two paper cups... which we repeatedly reused for our specially hand selected Okanagan wine, then our water and then our morning coffee. We awkwardly mashed our crackers in to the cheese we had purchased on our road trip and sat forlornly on the end of the (thankfully comfortable) bed feeling ripped off. Not a great end to our time in Canada.

The location is also good for walking or using public transportation, and there is a kitchenette and a laundry room on the 2nd floor, so it was usefully used. Computers and printers were conveniently available in the hotel lobby, and there were marts, hospitals, and sharpeners nearby, so it was easy to buy necessary items and get tested for Corona.
