Before we had even settled into our room, we discovered the toilet was leaking and the shower wasn’t working. Although these issues were eventually fixed after we informed reception, we were then faced with a much bigger problem – loads of ants covering the walls, floor and one of the beds. The bed became unusable, meaning we were forced to share a single bed for the remainder of our stay.
To make matters worse, the towels and bed linen were stained, which made the room feel unclean from the moment we arrived. The only solution offered for the ant infestation was to spray the bed with insecticide and expect us to sleep in it afterwards, which we found completely unacceptable. Instead, we were given a WhatsApp number and told that the manager would contact us regarding compensation, but we never heard anything.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. We paid to enjoy a comfortable stay but instead dealt with poor room conditions, cleanliness issues, and a lack of proper customer service. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here.
