Golden Dragon House Vang Vieng

COCKROACHES in the shower and bathroom, not nice, plus the lighting was very bad in showers and toilets so even worse. Toilets and showers were fairly clean. No ac or fans in the rooms during daytime. The pool looked quite dirty. Staff helped me to change into lower bunk bed when I asked :) Good breakfast. All in all, with the money.

Great hostel, very social and in the middle of town. They do good deals on excursions and train tickets etc to next places you are visiting.

The hostel’s location is perfect, also there’s many restaurants and 7/11 nearby. My bed was comfortable and nice, but room itself not the best, because they turned AC off during the day so it could get pretty hot by the evening. Bathrooms were dark and not the cleanest. The place was super crowded with people, mostly young solo travellers from western countries, so it could get noisy during evenings, but never was a problem to sleep during nights. Breakfast was amazing, enough delicious food to be full! Hostel manager also helped me with getting a taxi to the train station. Overall if you’re young, don’t really care for comfort, want a cheaper priceand crave social interactions it is a perfect place for you.

Amazing stay! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location, excelent breakfast, swimming pool, pool table, nice people and helpfull staff. I do recommend.

Best hotel we’ve ever stay in Lao

The hostel is really nice and social, you can easily meet other backpackers. They also have the cutest puppy. The pool is nice but really green. The staff is really helpful and you can book the train and bus directly through them. We did the paramotor woth them and it was nice!
