Kinton hotel

The hotel is quite run-down. The pool is unusable and empty. There are obviously a lot of Chinese guests, so the breakfast is geared towards their tastes and not up to the usual standard. The room is very dirty under the beds, the bathroom is moldy, and the provided slippers are dirty. There's no soap by the sink. There's only a tiny toilet paper roll, so you have to get more at the reception. Not recommended. Not 5 stars, more like 0 stars. The only positive: A friendly concierge who booked us a tuk-tuk to the train station, which was sufficient for four people with luggage. Das Hotel ist ziemlich abgewohnt. Der Pool ist nicht benutzbar und leer. Es gibt augenscheinlich viele chinesische Gäste, das Frühstück ist entsprechend auf deren Geschmack ausgerichtet und nicht vergleichbar mit dem üblichen Standard. Im Zimmer ist es unter den Betten sehr schmutzig, das Bad ist schimmelig, die vorhandenen Badeschuhe sind schmutzig. Es gibt keine Seife am Waschbecken. Es gibt nur eine winzige Toilettenpapierrolle, so dass man an der Rezeption Nachschub holen muss. Nicht empfehlenswert. Keine 5 Sterne wert, eher 0 Sterne. Das einzig positive: Ein freundliche Concierge, der uns ein TukTuk zum Bahnhof gebucht hat, das war ausreichend für 4 Personen mit Gepäck.

The hotel did not live up to the expectations from what I saw online. The room was clean, but the shower floors the floor of the bathroom and the room had a faint smell of possibly cigarettes or mildew. I was looking forward to using the pool, especially after seeing the videos, but the water was green and murky, so I didn’t go in. There’s a restaurant on the 8th floor with a view, but it was closed the few times I went up, and when I finally found it open I went up to take photos but there were signs that said I would be charged 100,000 Kip if I came in and didn’t order anything. I’m not sure if this rule applies to hotel guests, but it didn’t specify. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and kind. They let us check out an hour late past our late 2pm check out because our train was leaving after 4. That was very accommodating of them. If the hotel had been rated 3 stars, I probably wouldn’t have any complaints other than the pool since the cost to stay there was low. If you’re looking for a solid, reasonably priced 2-3 star hotel, I would recommend it. If you’re looking want something nicer, try another hotel.

Super clean and Beautiful hotel with Gorgeous views !🥹🙌🏻Once again we were upgraded to Business suits rooms ! With Big and wide windows to see the mountains 🏔️ and clouds 🌧️ such a wonderful and beautiful place ! There were some small incidents like power outages and so forth but further than that the young gentleman in the lobby was always ready to help us 💕🙏🏻 we praise him for his hard work and making this stay in Vang Vieng so pleasantly happy 😃!!

The reception staff provided good service, but the restaurant staff seemed unwilling to serve. Breakfast was not varied, only Chinese food.
