Vangvieng Night Market Resort

This hotel is right on a night market street, making it super convenient to explore. For outdoor activities, there's a professional outdoor company just a short walk away: head right when you exit the hotel, walk to the next street, and make another right.

The hotel's hygiene was appalling. I found hair and fingernails on the bed. The toilet seat was broken, and the sink drain was also out of order. When I reported it to the front desk, they said they'd arrange for repairs the next day. However, no one showed up to fix anything, nor did I receive any updates by the time I checked out. The room was also dark and damp.

Excellent hotel! Highly recommend to everyone! The staff is very responsive and helpful with everything!

I booked this hotel last minute when I decided to visit Vang Vieng, and overall it was quite good. There's a pool, which my kids absolutely loved. The breakfast selection was limited and not very tasty, but the location is excellent, right on the night market street. It was super convenient for getting around and shopping.

The location is fantastic, right outside there's a night market (but whatever you do, don't use the ATMs near the night market! They'll eat your card...). Facilities: The rooms are spacious and modernly decorated. All the essentials like disposable shower caps and slippers are provided, which was actually better than I expected. There's also a pool and outdoor dining area, and I even saw a cute cat. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Service: The owner is very welcoming and always greets guests. The waffles for breakfast were delicious. We arrived late, and all the other shops were closed, but we were able to sign up for the next day's activities at the front desk without any issues. It felt like there were quite a few Chinese guests staying here. Even though the owner doesn't speak Chinese, all the facilities have Chinese signs.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the night market, and getting to the main street is super convenient. The staff were all friendly and polite; there was a water outage at one point, but it was resolved quickly. The noise issue is a bit harder to deal with—there are a few construction sites nearby, and you can hear loud music from nightclubs at night. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to skip this one. Oh, and there's a noodle shop across from the hotel that looked really popular, but I didn't get a chance to try it this time, which is a shame.
