Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa ★★★★
"If you're visiting the North Island, this hotel offers excellent value for money. They provide free airport shuttle service. If you want to go to a dive shop in town, you can ask the hotel to help you call a taxi. The hotel offers a variety of daily activities; I recommend feeding the sleeper sharks and seeing the turtles. The hotel staff are very welcoming and will greet you with a "bula." Philip, who greeted us, was especially nice. Compared to the high prices on the main island, the town on the North Island is incredibly affordable. Aside from the slightly inconvenient transportation, the North Island is the perfect choice in terms of both price and experience."
Gecko Lodge Fiji ★★★
"We’re volunteers for Engineers Without Borders and on assignment in remote portion of Buca Bay. Each weekend we come to SavuSavu for re-supply and R&R. We bumped into Gecko lodge by accident when our regular spot jacked up their prices to insane levels; We are so glad we found Gecko! Jeremy is our host and you could not ask for a nicer, friendly, accommodating person. We had a medical scare and had to extend our stay, and Jeremy worked with us to allow us more time to deal with our situation. The rooms (I’ve stayed in all of them, I think) are beautifully decorated, simple in design, clean as a whistle, and have a refrigerator so we can actually enjoy a cold beverage!! Oh, and they have hot water, too?! Yes, they do! We are on our second weekend stay as I write this, and will stay again next week as our final night in the area. There is a clean and well stocked outdoor kitchen, which we took full advantage of to enjoy the cool am views of the bay. Tea service with kettle are in each room. Finally, if you just cannot take the heat, turn on the AC, it works really well. I cannot imagine lodging anywhere else!"
Galaxy Hotels & Apartments ★★★
Naveria Heights Lodge ★★★★
"This is my second visit to Naveria Heights Lodge. Both of the time I stayed due to having work in Savusavu. The stay at Naveria Heights is heaven on earth. You will feel serene and joyous just being at Naveria Heights. Of all the places you can be in Fiji, this place offers a unique experience you will ever have. I have always arrived and left Naveria on the highest notes of all my life experiences. It is one place that has that pull connected to your soul. Sharon Wild has maintained this place that has the same effect as meeting her in person, a charismatic woman with the conviction of lifestyle that inspires people to refine their own life path with intent. The personality of this combination is exhilarating to say the least. I highly recommend it to people who consider themselves to be on a path of self discovery to meet Sharon and her heaven. This is my experience and words are not enough to justify fully how I felt. This part of my life was written probably before I was born. This place brings out the poet in me that I buried years ago!"
Ramada Encore - Labasa Damodar City
"Brand new hotel meeting all Western industry standards, the team does its best to be on top of the expectations. My best recommendations!"
Daku Resort ★★★
"We recently hosted a group of over 30 guests at Daku Resort for a conference, and from start to finish, our experience exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our needs (including countless last-minute changes). Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the team’s friendly, made coordinating such a large group a breeze. A special mention must go to the owners, JJ and Delia, who made us feel very much at home, often joining us for dinner and sparking lively conversations. Delia even personally took us snorkelling to show us the best local spots. The resort itself is in a stunning location, with breathtaking views of the bay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautifully positioned to take full advantage of the scenery."
Grand Eastern Hotel ★★★
"They checked me in early with no fuss, hotel was clean. All amenities were as per booking site. Location is right in the middle of Labasa town so very convenient. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was alright."
The Remote Resort ★★★★
"This resort checks SO many boxes! The people absolutely make this resort one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken! Everyone, and I mean everyone, is amazing. From our first interaction with the boat crew to our final at the dock upon our return - each and every person was kind, caring and genuinely amazing. Elie, Zoe, Marisa, Sia, Valesie, Maria, Graeme, Kim, Wane, Wilson...every single person could not have been more excellent. These staff members made my trip without a doubt. The grounds are manicured and beautiful, the accommodations are comfortable, the food is delicious and varied. The Scuba Diving is the most amazing underwater experience I have ever had. Graeme, Kim, Wane & Wilson give a true concierge diving experience - which was flawless!! The beauty of the Rainbow Reef cannot be understated, it is simply amazing. I cannot number the different fish type we saw, nor can I begin to describe the beauty of the reef!"
Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua ★★★
"The worst part was that they gave me the Wi-Fi password and I was able to access it, but the Wi-Fi was immediately switched off and I was told that it was solar-powered so I could only charge it on sunny days. There was no lock on the room and the air conditioning was just for show and I couldn't use it. There were also extra charges for meals. I don't think I've ever experienced such a terrible accommodation."

Sigasiga Sands Boutique Bungalows
"Sigasiga Sands was amazing! We stayed in the Coco Villa and it was absolutely fantastic. Every appliance you could possibly need was provided, making it perfect for a family stay. The villa is spacious, includes a loft, free Wi-Fi, and even a baby cot, which my son was able to use during the day. The views were stunning all day long, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. Subash was incredibly helpful and always reachable whenever we needed assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back!"
Savasi Island Resort
"Our stay in Savasi Island Resort Savusavu, Fiji (Oct 24) was a truly unique and relaxing experience. The setting itself is something quite special, with the resort nestled into a dramatic cliffside landscape that feels very different from your typical tropical getaway. It created a peaceful, almost secluded atmosphere that made it easy to completely unwind. The accommodation and overall experience were very comfortable, and we were especially impressed with the flexibility of the kitchen. They were more than happy to prepare off-menu options, which was a huge plus for fussy eaters and made dining stress-free and enjoyable. There were a few trip options available through the resort, which added some variety to our stay. However, we were a little disappointed with the lack of snorkeling directly at the resort, as it didn’t quite live up to expectations. That said, what truly made a difference was one of the wonderful staff members who took us out on several day trips, including some incredible long drift snorkels. These experiences were a real highlight and absolutely saved the holiday, giving us the chance to explore much better reef and marine life. Overall, Savasi Island Resort offers a very relaxing and distinctive escape, made even more memorable by the warmth and effort of the staff."
La Dolce Vita Holiday Villas
"I had the best time with my family. The resort was easily accessible by taxi from Savusavu town $40fjd. The greeting cookies platter was delicious as well as the fruit platter. The room was very clean and tidy. Loved the products in the room aspecially since they were high quality pure Fiji products. My daughter loved the pool and tried to get every chance to go and swim. No loud noise at all except for the beautiful birds singing and waves on the shoreline. The food was the best.Chef Michelle was efficient and the ingredients prepared were 100% locally sourced. The dishes she wiped up were yummy.❤️Vinaka Michelle!! Not forgetting Mabel who looked after us well, attending to our needs and always there with her big bula smile. Vinaka Maybel!! Lastly,Ms Margaret, thank you for letting us stay at your lovely resort. We had a great time and spend quality, fun and relaxing moments together as a family. See yous around❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
Sau Bay Resort & Spa
"Our 10-day stay at Sau Bay Resort & Spa was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. Before we even reached the beachfront, the entire resort staff was waiting to personally greet us with a traditional Fijian welcome song. Everyone already knew our names and welcomed us with warm smiles and a cheerful, “Bula, Mike!” That first greeting immediately made us feel like part of the Sau Bay family, and that feeling continued throughout our entire stay. Serah, the resort manager, met with us shortly after our arrival and clearly explained how everything at the resort worked. The staff, owner, and dive team were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The bures were clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated in a peaceful tropical setting. While the accommodations and surroundings are wonderful, it is truly the Sau Bay family that makes this resort shine. I also earned my open water scuba-diving certification at Sau Bay Resort & Spa. My instructor, Apo, was exceptionally patient and explained every step in detail, ensuring that I always felt comfortable and confident. The divemasters were professional, safety-conscious, knowledgeable, and simply amazing. The dives at the various Rainbow Reef sites, nearby reefs, and the resort’s own house reef were outstanding. The vibrant corals, abundant marine life, and incredible underwater scenery made every dive memorable. The dining was first-rate. Laisa and Lilly, the chefs, and their team prepared every meal from scratch using locally sourced ingredients, including delicious locally caught seafood. Each dish tasted amazing and was presented with the care and creativity you would expect from a high-end restaurant. The fresh coconuts were always a treat, even with hot sauce! Returning to the “real world” and eating food filled with preservatives was a difficult adjustment after enjoying such fresh, flavorful meals every day. Lui, the beverage director, is a true mixologist. His extensive list of specialty drinks was impressive, and many featured syrups and infusions that he created from scratch. His creativity and attention to detail made every cocktail a unique experience. Sau Bay Resort & Spa offers excellent diving, outstanding food, comfortable accommodations, and a beautiful, relaxing setting. However, what we will remember most is the incredible staff who welcomed us, cared for us, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Leaving was genuinely difficult. We cannot recommend Sau Bay highly enough and look forward to returning to visit our Sau Bay family again!"
