"A special hotel near Lake Sainte-Croix. The French dinner in the restaurant is very authentic. Although expensive, it is delicious. Breakfast is similar to separate meals, served in small glass bottles. Unfortunately, the team booked five rooms of the same type, and gave them two of the top rooms. They were so small that even when opening the door, they hit the bedside table. It was difficult to put two large suitcases in, and it was difficult to turn around. And the only view from the window was the roof."

"Loved everything about this place - the rooms were amazing and were HUGE - the bathrooms if you are sharing with friends are a bit odd. because its all quite open plan, so best to ask for rooms with closed off bathrooms Most of the rooms had a balcony with hot tub The walk to the beach was the plus point The restaurant was cosy and small but had great food there throughout the day Just walking around it had a vibe of relaxation yet was not far from shops and restaurants if needed (by car though) We went for Christmas 22nd-26th December 2023 and had the best time with a bunch of friends"

"Delightful family-run hotel, situated on a quiet street 150 metres from the beach. Our room had a lovely view across the bay to Toulon. The pool was perfect, set in a beautiful garden full of flowers and shaded by pine trees. Breakfast was a highlight with lots of homemade patisserie, jams and yogurt. L'Escapade is an excellent choice for a stay on the Côte d'Azur but away from the more crowded spots."

"Stayed at Les Roches Rouges at the end of the Summer 2022. Very conveniently located a quick drive from the nearest town, where you can find restaurants, pharmacies, stores and so on. The Hotel was beautiful! Its minimalistic design lets you enjoy the full sight/breeze/sounds of the Mediterranean without distractions. The Infinity pool connects with the Sea right next to it, providing an additional layer of comfort with their prompt towel/food and beverage service. The room was very comfortable and had a nice balcony with a vast view of the Sea. We visited the Spa at the Hotel and experienced a heavenly treatment. It was hard to leave once it was over hahaha We had dinner reservations at the Hotel one night and we were running late on our drive back, we called and told them and they were kind enough to wait for us to come back to order and then closed the kitchen afterwards. Our stay was brief and i wish we had stayed at Les Roches Rouges longer. Hopefully we will go back in the near future and enjoy everything the Hotel has to offer."

"We paid €125 for a room at the Grand Hôtel in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were told we had to check out by noon, but that we could continue to use the pool after returning the keys. Unfortunately, the promises ended there. With the heat, I wanted to take a shower to cool off, but the drain was completely blocked. It was impossible to run the water for more than a minute without risking a flood. We immediately reported the problem to reception, but the only response we received was that no intervention was possible because it was “too late” in the afternoon. Unacceptable for a hotel at this price. The next day, after returning the keys, we asked for towels so we could use the pool, as had been offered to us the day before. We were categorically refused, on the pretext that there were many new arrivals. The result: the pool was unusable and the entire stay was ruined. Between a non-functional shower, an unresolved problem, and broken promises, the value for money is catastrophic. At €125 a night, one expects a minimum level of service and consideration for guests. A very bad experience."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel La Ponche. The hotel is wonderful - beautifully decorated, it has real charm with luxurious rooms that are full of personality and the history of the hotel. The service from the staff is excellent - from transporting us from the car garage to the hotel in their own Tuk Tuk to being shown our amazing room (which had been kindly upgraded to one with a balcony and sea view), every staff member was lovely and welcoming. Our whole stay was perfect, we couldn't have stayed anywhere better to explore beautiful Saint Tropez and we look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"The hotel is truly exceptional in its setting, luxury, and decor: flawless. However, I was very disappointed with the restaurant. The starters and main courses lacked originality and were served in very small portions. Just a few cashew nuts to accompany the champagne as an aperitif. Only one amuse-bouche per person, the size of a thimble, to begin with. Not even a wafer or tuile to accompany the chocolate mousse or ice cream sundae. The bill came to €498 for four people, and the waiter immediately suggested we pay €500 to... round it up: Unbelievable! The service was also not up to the standard expected of an establishment of this reputation. We were two couples of friends, and we all shared the same feeling. I live in Aiguebelle and was looking forward to this first visit after 10 years of renovations. What a shame."
