They were so small that even when opening the door, they hit the bedside table. It was difficult to put two large suitcases in, and it was difficult to turn around. "I feel the need to post a review in response to the ludicrous negativity of some of my countrymen. If you want All Inclusive where your behaviour hits the debauched level of drinking all day and all night, and eating an obscene amount of food until you can’t move, go to Benidorm or somewhere else. This hotel is lovely, all the better for Brits being very much the minority. It’s in a lovely location, you can get the 21 or 8 bus into St Raphael, or walk as it’s only 2.5 miles. In the other direction is Le Dremond with its few restaurants and bars. Let’s be honest, it’s quiet here and if you want lively, go elsewhere. There’s very little nearby but enough to have a nice holiday. It’s very never been anywhere where bed and breakfast includes lunch! And wine!!! And we are veggies and ate really well. The staff are lovely, the pools excellent, and the various small, secluded beaches a delight. St Raphael is amazing and Cannes, Nice, Marseille, even Monaco are easily accessible in the train. Rooms are functional but clean with superb air conditioning. Totally loved it but come with the correct attitude. Oh and if you come in July, it’s going to be hot."

"This resort was the most peaceful, relaxing, comfortable hotel my husband and I have been in. The attention to detail was impeccable as well as the customer service. The manager allowed us to check in 3 hours before our scheduled check in time, assisted with our bags, offered for us to stay late and switch out hotels due to strikes and road closures going to our next destination. He was able to upgrade our room at the next hotel where we were staying free of charge when we were unable to change our plans. In addition we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, the massages and the room."

"I have known this little part of heaven on earth for over forty-five years. For me and my family its like coming home. I knew the origional owner who was head of the local resistance in the last world war. Squat tough and a terrific sence of humour. Taught me to play boule but only if there was a pastis at hand. I went early in the morning to market with him, a pastis with a coffee was de rigeur. I first went there to work and arrived at night it was very dark but a cold plate had been left in my room. Slept like a log to awake to flowers, sun and a delightful warm welcome. Breakfast on the terrace was fresh baguettes etc. home made jam and creamy butter. Delicious coffee. AND the food was beyond delicious. Breakfast is served now until 11.30 in your room or a quiet spot in the garden. The running of the Ferme has passed down the family and is now in the capable hands of Christophe who has inherited the special Ferme warmth not just from the sun but his greeting. The Ferme now has a swimming pool dug from Augustin's boule pitch. He would not have minded as the pool has a fabulous outdoor bar. The cocktails prime one for lunch or dinner. Non-fussy fo. od fresh and well, just perfect for me. I just love the way fresh fish is shown and then discussed how one would like it cooked. I could write a book about the Ferme but suffice to say that I went there three times the first year, before I was married the second time. I had my second honey moon at La Ferme! La Ferme is 150 m from Plage Tahiti who have a geat bar, have not tried the food because, well the Ferme's is only a little stroll away. By the way a thoughtful car is on hand to take one down to St Tropez, ten minutes drive For me and my family, who have all grown up, go there with my grand children. It is a bit special."

"A hotel experience that exceeded expectations. We reserved parking in advance via email, and upon arrival, the hotel valet provided parking. A small car then carried our luggage and took us to the hotel, a distance of less than 200 meters. The hotel is a nearly century-old building, very French-style, facing the sea. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were satisfied. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, the rooms were comfortably furnished, and the large woven backpacks provided were convenient for carrying belongings in the town and made for great photos. The hotel has its own stamps and initials stamps for each room, allowing us to send a free postcard to a friend. These details were a big plus and made our vacation in Sanit Tropz even more enjoyable."

The valet told me my car was just sitting there in the parking lot and couldn't even bring it back. In short, too much fuss for nothing. "1. Overview This hotel is a textbook example of how beautiful grounds and a premium location cannot compensate for broken service standards. Despite the lush territory and Saint‑Tropez atmosphere, the stay is overshadowed by operational chaos, poor staff training, and a complete lack of attention to detail. 2. Location The location is objectively strong: 20 minutes on foot to the old town of Saint‑Tropez and 5 minutes by car. Close enough to enjoy the area, far enough to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately, the convenience of the location is one of the few things the hotel gets right. 3. Check‑In & First Impressions Check‑in was disorganized and unprofessional. The staff failed to explain anything, simply stating the room wasn’t ready and that they would “contact me later.” They never did. I had to return to reception myself to get the room. This lack of communication and ownership sets the tone for the entire stay. 4. Rooms The room design is acceptable but unremarkable. Everything you need is technically there, but nothing stands out. The real issue is the terrible soundproofing. Walls feel paper‑thin, and you hear every door slam and hallway conversation. For a hotel in this price category, this is unacceptable. 5. Facilities The property itself is undeniably beautiful: • Expansive, green territory • Three pools • Sea views • Peacocks walking freely However, the execution is sloppy: • Pool sunbeds near the restaurant are poorly designed, with cushions constantly sliding off. • Towels are badly washed, with “clean” ones sometimes arriving damp or stained. The contrast between the stunning setting and the careless maintenance is striking. 6. Dining Breakfast Breakfast is mediocre in both variety and product quality. But the real problem is — again — the service. Wrong coffee delivered, sugar never brought, incomplete table setup, forgotten items. These are not isolated incidents; they happen constantly. Rooftop Restaurant The rooftop restaurant is decent, and service here is noticeably better. Still, the pricing feels inflated for what is offered. 7. Service This is where the hotel completely collapses. Service is slow, inattentive, and consistently incompetent: • Orders forgotten or mixed up • Staff not following through on basic requests • No sense of urgency or responsibility • Guests around the property visibly frustrated It’s clear the hotel suffers from poor management and a lack of training. For the rates they charge, this level of service is simply unacceptable. 8. Atmosphere & Design The atmosphere is pleasant — Mediterranean, green, relaxed — and the overall vibe is very Saint‑Tropez. But the charm evaporates quickly once you interact with the staff or encounter the operational issues. 9. Value for Money The hotel does not justify its price. Château Rose Golfe de Saint Tropez-Grimaud
"Hôtel Château Rose was one of the most memorable stays of our trip through France. With only 18 rooms and suites, the hotel feels intimate and personal rather than resort-like. The views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez are beautiful, and the entire property is filled with expressive art, sculptures and unexpected design details. Even the extraordinary mosaic swimming pool feels like a work of art. The greatest strength, however, is the team. From the moment we arrived, everyone welcomed us with genuine warmth. Requests were handled with care, preferences were remembered, and the service felt attentive without becoming formal. We were upgraded to a spacious, light-filled room with a large balcony and views towards Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud. The view could be enjoyed directly from the bed, the room was calm and comfortable, and the pillows were outstanding. The Lavazza coffee in the room was also much better than the usual hotel coffee experience. Breakfast was excellent. The selection was thoughtful, the fried eggs were possibly the best we had in France, and both regular coffee and iced coffee were prepared exactly as requested. The rooftop is another highlight. The sunset view is spectacular, and the combination of art, colour, music and open sky creates a glamorous but relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is not adults-only, but during our stay we saw only two children, and neither affected the atmosphere. It came remarkably close to delivering the calm, grown-up environment we look for. One small issue: on Sunday after lunch, the pool became busy enough that resident guests could not find a place for approximately an hour. We believe hotel guests should have protected access to loungers during busy summer weekends. That did not change our overall impression. Château Rose combines beauty, calm and genuine human warmth, and we would very happily return."

"We were a long weekend in the hotel facility. The room has everything it needs. Small table and enough closet for clothing. A small balcony with two chairs and small washing spoon. The two beds are ok, they just slip off each other, you need to know. There is no water cooker. The hotel facilities are very extensive, but it is well marked. The breakfast buffet was great and the view on the window is just great. We have had dinner yet tonight. The dinner buffet costs 22.50 per person and is really recommended. Water and wine are available for free. The spa area has come in the years, but the winter pool (there are 5) was good and we were almost always alone the evening before the dinner. The showers and dressing cabins are "appropriate". On the outdoor terraces you have a wonderful view. From time to time a plane has been on landing, but this was not disturbing, but rather interesting to see the big object. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the hotel facility and on the second day you will also know where to park the best to get to the room the fastest way. The price-performance ratio has voted. Thanks to again."
