Overpriced for what you get
The staff was friendly. Room very old with heating system not working well. It was really cold at night. Old blankets and sheets.

Great hotel in a quaint, rural village in the mountains. Fantastic restaurant that obviously has a chef that knows what he is doing!
The views from our room were amazing, and the heavens gave us a spectacular lightshow - brilliant stars early, and then a fast-moving thunderstorm later.
Great morning hike before a wonderful breakfast. Sorry that we had to leave such a peaceful place so soon.

Very accommodating - thanks!
We were crewing for the Tod des Geants and arrived at 12:30 a.m. and left at 7 a.m. The Manager was extremely accommodating in allowing a super late check-in and early departure.

Beautiful alpine setting with amazing views and lots of good walking trails in the area. The room was comfortable but there was no tea or coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves traditional regional food which is nice but limited options especially for children.

Great stop over en route to Italy. Super views, friendly staff comfortable rooms. Decent evening meal, enjoyed the local wine. En suite a tad on the small side, especially the shower, but otherwise great. Would highly recommend if travelling over the Great St Bernard Pass.

Excellent location. The room wasn't what I expected; I booked a deluxe double, but it was different from the photos. The balcony was on the ground floor, and the fence was very low, as we have two dogs. The bathroom only had a shower towel and bathmat, no hand or guest towels. A plastic cup with cigarette butts was left on the balcony. There was no brochure explaining the hours and use of the building. It wasn't stated that the entrance door was locked after midnight. We were taking the dogs out at 4:00 AM, and were stuck outside, and even after ringing the bell, no one was at reception. We managed to find the laundry room door open, otherwise... The food was average, nothing special. Breakfast, however, was well-stocked. The price was high for what we received.

We have just returned from a long weekend in this hotel, located in a hamlet close to the Crevacol area. The location is ideal for skiing, the hotel is only a couple of kilometers from the slopes, the road has no curves and it really takes 5 minutes. The Des Alpes hotel is really welcoming. We stayed in apartment B, located across the internal courtyard, a stone's throw from the main building. Inside, the room was furnished in a mountain style and complete with everything needed. The only advice we can give to the owners is to change the mattresses in the double bed and sofa bed, and to make sure you use sheets of the right size for the bed. The owner Leonardo is an exceptional person, always smiling and with a passion for children, who never fails to reserve an extra smile, a joke, or a joke. We were able to appreciate his availability both towards us (giving us a bag of ice to cure a bad blow) and towards other guests who had special needs. The food is excellent, a varied, abundant 3-course dinner that reflects tradition. Buffet breakfast with homemade products, juices, jams, in addition to the part dedicated to salty foods. As a further point in favor, there is also a small wellness centre, which they make available upon reservation to a limited number of people, so that it is possible to enjoy the sauna, whirlpool and Turkish bath without confusion or waiting. To conclude, the stay at the hotel des Alpes was very positive, a place we hope to return soon to challenge Mr. Leonardo at the wooden game with top and balls.
