Daios Cove

We stayed at Daios Cove for a week on our first family holiday with our 5-month-old son. After doing a lot of research to find the right all-inclusive option, we settled on this resort and overall had a wonderful stay. We booked through British Airways, with our package (including flights) costing around £3,800. The service throughout our stay was excellent—nothing we asked for was ever too much trouble. We were provided with a steam steriliser and a comfortable travel cot in our room, which made things much easier with a baby. The food was consistently delicious, with plenty of dining options to choose from. All room service was included which meant we could have breakfast on the terrace and a couple of dinners too. One small regret was not realising until the last day that the Ocean restaurant was available for breakfast, which would have been a lovely alternative to the buffet. The resort is generally buggy-friendly, though getting around often requires using the funicular, which can mean a bit of waiting. Possibly trickier during high season. There were a few downsides for us. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible during our stay—rain, wind, and clouds all week. April is definitely a gamble! Although the pools are advertised as heated, they weren’t that warm. We had hoped to take our son swimming indoors (as we do regularly at home), but the indoor pool was too cold for him—around 25°C. The spa pool was the perfect temperature, but unfortunately, children aren't allowed. We had paid extra for a room with a private pool, imagining peaceful nap times by the water, but sadly the pool wasn’t heated and sat in the shade, so we didn’t get to use it at all. Lastly, while our room was very spacious, it felt quite dated and basic in terms of décor—worth noting if aesthetics are important to you. All in all we had a great holiday and would consider returning again.

Stayed as a family of four in October Half Term. Whilst windy on occasion, the weather was great for this time of year. We had booked a villa with pool and on arrival received the Wellness Villa. Our jaws dropped to the floor on entry-so amazing and then in the morning with the light of day, we could not believe our views, the size of the pool we had and everything. It was just amazing. We were on the all inclusive package which was very much worth it. We would have food and drinks delivered to the villa or eat out. The food delivered was exceptional, the food in the beach restaurant was also very good. We were not fond of the choices in the first floor restaurant but that may be down to just our personal choice. I never thought I would ever be in a holiday drinking free flow Veuve all day but this was honestly the case. There was not much on offer for teenagers in terms.of activities etc but if you want a week away of quality family time, this definitely offers it!

This was our third stay at Daios Cove. The first time was perfect - and it seems to somehow keep getting better each time we go. My wife and son have serious allergies and the staff have always gone the extra mile - not only to accommodate our needs but to make every meal a memorable one. Daios Cove was spectacular! The rooms, the views and the service were beyond my expectation. It is built into the side of a hill and requires a Funicular to get to different levels. That is part of the fun. You get to meet and socialize on the short rides while viewing Mirabello Bay. The restaurants were excellent, the buffet had an incredible array of food choices. My recollection was that it was over 100 choices. The staff was terrific, very helpful and knowledgeable. In particular, Yiannis who is our server in the adult dining room. We never wanted for anything. He was always there and provided exquisite service. I would recommend this to not only individuals, but also the families as they do cater to those with Children. That said, I never felt like it was overrun by children. A place not to be missed!!

My Mum and I stayed in this hotel for a week in early July 2024 and cannot recommend this hotel enough. We booked through BA Holidays and were originally due to travel in June 2024 but had to amend our holiday for family reasons. The hotel were very kind in assisting us in changing the dates and our original type of room was available and the hotel assisted in changing our hotel reservations etc. We had the premium junior suite with private pool and the room was unbelievable. We really enjoyed our private pool and being part of the residents club was excellent with the room service being great for lunch by our private pool. I would definitely recommend the residents club if you are able to have this package, the breakfasts in ocean and Pangea were brilliant. For dinner our favourites were the beach house and ocean. The staff were so personal remembering our room number and breakfast orders every day. Although this is a large resort and we were on the highest level, the buggies and funiculars made the hotel easy to navigate. I also used the gym most mornings during our stay which was well equipped with an amazing morning view, the staff were always happy to help here to. Already looking at dates and prices to come back near year. Daios Cove thank you for the most relaxing week! ⛱️️

Amazing views, extremely high standards everywhere, but the staff where the best part. Especially Anna and Yannis in the Pangea restaurant, and Alex and all the team at the Ocean bar. They all made our stay extremely nice, and we’re looking forward to meeting them again on our next trip back.
