Airport Hotel Budapest ★★★★
"By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be coming back when I return to Budapest. First thing was the booking details, which clearly stated "1 full bed". However when I got to the hotel room, there were two TINY beds instead. If I laid perfectly straight on these beds, my arms nearly fall off the sides. I go to reception and the blonde woman who was there at 11:10pm on Wednesday May 20th told me "we don't have any large beds in Hungary, we just push two small beds together." This is a lie, I had just spent 8 days in Budapest at the Park Plaza (also a 4 star hotel) and I slept in a single very large bed every night. When I mentioned this, she just shrugged. No apologies. Why does this matter? Two mattresses pushed together creates a gap that results in aggravating back pain, especially for anyone with spine misalignment like I have. I booked this hotel to go to the airport energized and refreshed, instead I get to go on my international flight exhausted with extreme back pain. Second issue was the water, the absolute hottest that it got was lukewarm. I asked reception about this issue too, same woman said she'd look into it. It was never fixed, no apologies for the inconvenience again. The room was hotter than the "hot" water. The only positives about this hotel were the decent breakfast and free airport shuttle, but I'd rather have spent $8 on an Uber and had a full bed as promised. I'll be staying at the Ibis Styles or TRIBE next time. They probably don't lie about their rooms."
Tribe Budapest Airport ★★★★
"The room had a strong musty smell. The cleanliness was decent, and the facilities were okay. The service, however, was excellent. I'm giving an extra point just for the special beef pho at the restaurant – it was absolutely amazing, just like Chaoshan beef soup, with a beef aroma that lingered wonderfully."
Budapest Airport Eprespark Hotel ★★★
Ibis Styles Budapest Airport ★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, just about a 5-minute walk from the airport. Most of the staff were very enthusiastic. The rooms are standard for an economy hotel, and the value for money is just average."
Noa Panzió ★★★★
"The receptionist (Vikki) spoke great English and was so helpful (carried our luggage, ordered our delivery pizza, and answered all of our questions). A modern, new, and very clean hotel!"
Budapest Airport Hotel Stáció Wellness & Konferencia ★★★★
"The environment is good, not far from the airport, and the taxi is about 9 euros"
Noa Panzió ★★★
"We spent a night there at the end of our visit to Budapest, to be close to the airport, because we had an extremely early morning departure flight. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! The hotel is in a small town near the airport, in an open field area, so it's isolated from passing traffic from the rural road, and extremely quiet and restful. It appears to have been built recently. Everything was modern and very clean. Large bedroom with equally large en suite bathroom. Very comfortable beds, we slept like babies! The 2 young receptionists (one each for day and night shifts) spoke English, were very welcoming and efficient. The hotel has no kitchen, but they have an arrangement with a small local restaurant which delivers delicious warm pizzas and pastas very quickly, at reasonable prices (cheaper than in central Budapest). We left too early to be able to enjoy their modest breakfast (breads, cereals, milk, coffee). There is NO shuttle to the airport, which is about 10 minutes away, but the night receptionist kindly called a taxi for us, which arrived quickly, was professional and the car very clean, and cost only 12 Euros (plus our 3 Euros happy tip). We strongly recommend this hotel for travellers wishing to avoid the stress of being far from the airport before a flight. Try it, you'll like it!"
Hotel Ferihegy ★★★
"You have to ask the owner for the air conditioning remote control."
