We stayed here for three days and enjoyed it. This is a family run business which proved to be friendly and extremely helpful, especially in helping us arrange bus tickets and other transport. Language was no barrier at all with staff commanding varying degrees of fluency, and a handy translating machine on the premises. The bathroom facilities are basic but not unusual, and consistent with a heritage building. We appreciated the kitchenette and dining area for preparing breakfast/lunch. The location was terrific; quiet as away from the bars and traffic. Parking is an issue. All in all, fantastic for organised budget travellers. Highly recommended, with our thanks to and appreciation of our hosts

I do not recommend this place for your holiday. First, this is not a hotel. This is a house for tourists. Second, the owner is very unfriendly and arrogant. He was annoyed by the questions I asked him about the parking lot, the elevator, etc. (He had explained to us on the phone that the "hotel" has parking) His irritation grew into shouting. Later I found out that this is due to the fact that there is no parking lot next to the "hotel" Varusha, which is located near Samovodska Chershiya street. Access by car to the other buildings of the Varusha tourist house complex is very difficult, almost impossible. Also, there were spiders in the room. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. The building does not have an elevator and in the room price does not include breakfast.
