"We visited the hotel to celebrate a birthday and were delighted with every aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful property (in a tiny rental car) we were made to feel entirely special. Staff were welcoming, efficient and charming. We had been upgraded to a room with superb views over the hills. We enjoyed the beautiful pool area, the spa and enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu for dinner. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were extremely obliging - helping us with walking routes and providing details and samples of the jam we had enjoyed at breakfast. We have stayed at many good hotels all over the world, but what impressed us particularly about Chateau Saint Martin was the service. We would 100% recommend the hotel to friends looking for an indulgent break in a beautiful setting. Thank you for a superb stay."

"We planned on staying 2 nights but didn't stay even for 1 night. Room was tiny, fridge still dirty with olives from previous client in fridge. ice box iced up. Big stain on ceiling, door to room paint flaking off, bathroom shower floor tiles broken and looked dirty. Poolside rough stones and grass surrounding pool mostly soil. No cushion for wooden sunbed so very hard.very noisy due to construction site next door. First time I have ever left a hotel as felt it was not clean. "

The reception staff were friendly and polite and I had a great three nights. If I have another chance to go back to Vence, I will choose this hotel again."

"A true slice of paradise! The setting is gorgeous and impeccably maintained. The spa is outstanding, with a heated indoor pool and a hammam, while the outdoor jacuzzi boasts a spectacular sea view. Room 37 is large, comfortable, and equipped with a spotless bathroom. Towels and bathrobes are thoughtfully provided. The only minor drawback was the lack of soundproofing, we could hear the bed creaking from the enthusiastic couple next room…😉 That said, it didn’t spoil our stay at all, and we’ll be delighted to come back again!"

"Great location at the heart of this medieval small town. So many choices of boutique restaurants nearby. As a solo traveller from Asia, I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and because of its serene surrounding, I over spent willingly to indulge myself in an evening of fine dinning. Vitorie is a small boutique hotel, so don't set too high an expectation. Its superb location is worth what you are paying for it...."
