Upon arrival we checked in using a code given on the day, there is a steep set of stairs up to the room, which you will find similar in a lot of B&Bs in Venice. We booked a double and a single room for our stay, lovely and clean, toiletries and coffee making facilities included. To get here, from Marco Polo airport follow the signs to water transport, and both upstairs and next to the boats outside there are Alilaguna ticket booths, ask for the Blu Line pier 12b. (€15 pp single way I think ours was). I worked out the no of stops and also checked on maps to make sure we didn’t miss the stop, but it was the first or one of the first ones, so was a lot easier than I thought. Once arrived at Fondamente Nove stop, turn left and cross the bridge. Turn right in Calle de Le Tre Crose, just after the restaurant “Algiubagiò”. Go straight and turn right in Calle Larga dei Boteri: at the number 5107 you will find the B&B. We first met the host at breakfast the next morning, as we dumped our bags and went exploring until the late evening after we arrived. Pay city tax in cash and show your passports. Nice big croissants, jam / butter and breads available (I think also fruits, cheese and meets). She was on hand to help make hot drinks and answer any questions too. There’s only a few rooms at this accommodation so breakfast is just for a small selection of people, so I think they’ve got the setup of it all just right with that in mind. Pleasant, quiet, welcoming stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Al Pozzo du Luce. The bed is super comfortable, the room clean and pleasant, and we loved the breakfast of caffe, juice, and croissant. The bed and breakfast is very close to the airport boat, and to all the Venice attractions, but still calm. Thank you Alessandra for being so helpful and attentive to our needs!

Lovely hostess, goes the extra mile. Clean room and bathroom, value for money, would recommend to all. Breakfast included. Even got a welcome Prosecco in the fridge. Close to water taxi and local eateries.

This is such a beautiful B&B, so comfortable and Alessandro is a wonderful host. Its the perfect location for catching the waterbus straight from the Airport (2nd stop) and is only a 10/15 min walk from St Marks and the other central sights. There are several good value trattoria within a coupke of minutes and many more within 5 minutes. I really couldnt fault it and had an amazing few days here.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Lage nahe Fondamente Nove ist perfekt, wenn man mit der Fähre vom Flughafen kommt. kein ewiges Kofferschleppen, sondern gleich da. Das B&B ist sehr klein (4 Zimmer) und Alessandra führt es mit einer zurückhaltenden Freundlichkeit, die es zu dem perfekten Urlaubsort macht. -einfach zu finden und guter Ausgangspunkt für Venedig-Entdeckungen zu Fuß (ca. 25 min zu San Marco, ca. 30 min zur Biennale (Arsenale/ Giardini) - sehr unkomplizierter Check-in -hübsches Zimmer (und Duschbad mit Fenster und Fön ;-) -Mini-Kühlschrank perfekt für heißere Tage -täglich wird Mineralwasser ins Zimmer gestellt -sogar an einen Moskito-Abwehrstecker in der Steckdose wurde gedacht. -Frühstück herzhaft & süß, alles frisch (nicht aus der Plasteverpackung) und auf Wunsch gibts auch laktosefrei usw. - da Alessandra alles selbst erledigt (und ihr Sohn noch sehr klein ist) gibt es Frühstück von 9-10 Uhr. Frühabreiser bekamen es dann aber auch schon vorbereitet. Schien problemlos zu klappen bei den anderen Gästen - Alessandra hat viele Tipps auf Lager und kennt ihre Stadt. Daher unbedingt nach Restaurantempfehlungen usw. fragen Also wenn Venedig - dann zu Alessandra ins B&B Al Pozzi Di Luce ;-)

Siamo stati per 9 notti nel Bed & Breakfast Al Pozzo di Luce Suites. Le suites sono nella stessa struttura ma gestite da una persona diversa rispetto alle stanze al piano rialzato. Si tratta di 2 camere spaziose, con un bagno moderno dotato di una doccia molto grande, situate al pianterreno. All'ingresso un'ampia sala dove poter fare la colazione (che non viene servita dalla struttura), con macchina per caffè espresso, bollitore, cappuccinatore, cialde, bustine di te' twinings assortite, ampio frigorifero, lavapiatti, tazze, piatti e posate. La struttura è elegante e si trova in un'ottima posizione, a due passi da diverse fermate di vaporetti e a soli 15 minuti a piedi da Rialto (conoscendo bene la strada o seguendola con un navigatore su cellulare perchè i vicoli sono un labirinto). La proprietaria è una persona molto cordiale e disponibile. Unico neo il televisore non ha funzionato per tutto il periodo e non è stato possibile aggiustarlo, la cassaforte riporta istruzioni sbagliate (bottoncino rosso introvabile per settarla), abbiamo rimediato chiudendo gli oggetti di valore con un lucchetto nella valigia. Dato il costo (160 euro a notte) ci saremmo aspettati la colazione inclusa nel prezzo, anche se la proprietaria è stata gentile e ci ha fatto trovare biscotti, dolcetti, cialde di caffè decaffeinato comprate apposta per noi. Le pulizia non vengono fatte tutti i gg, vanno concordate all'arrivo. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa, accesso dall'esterno con codice.
